Prompt, excellent service. Got a next-day appointment when I called; they even arrived a few minutes early. Friendly, personable and competent. Even advised me on a hot tub issue I was having. All this for a reasonable rate. I'll never go anywhere else for my electrical needs.

I called Switch Electric to have a ceiling fan installed in my upstairs bedroom, and Kory showed up to do the job. He was prompt and very professional, but was also friendly and had a great attitude. He installed the ceiling fan and also installed timers for my outside lights. The ceiling fan looks great and although he could have got away with using cheaper timer switches for the outside lights he didn't, but instead used good quality products! He also installed a bulb in my garage ceiling which I couldn't reach, at no extra charge. He said it was all part of their service. I was very impressed with this company and I would highly recommend them. I would definitely use them again.

It was an Angie’s List special. Everything went well and cleanup was great. I would use them again.

They were on time and professional. Not the friendliest fellow, but certainly capable.

He arrived on time, assessed the situation, figured out the damage to the board, fixed the problem and replaced a damaged wall socket as well.

We spoke with Tyler on the phone prior to buying the coupon to ensure it was something they could do at our home. Tyler was very professional and we ended up adding a few extra lights as we were so pleased with their work. They did an exceptional job and cleaned up after they finished and they were respectful of their surroundings and took care to move things out of the way to protect them. My husband is very picky about any work we have done and always seems to find something wrong and he could not say enough about what a good job they did. We plan to use them again!

They were wonderful. They came out the same day or the very next day I called them. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

I bought a new range hood and the existing line was 16 inches from the access for the new hood. After reading the reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Switch electric and set the appointment for April 10. Kory arrived on time, iintroduced himself and looked at what I needed to have done. He then quoted me a price based on the hourly rate, which I accepted. The work was done in a straightforward manner and to my satisfaction. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I purchased one of Angiel's list daily deals a couple weeks back and called Switch Electric to schedule the installation. I got a date that was one week from the day I called, which I thought was fair. On the morning of service I called Tyler to inquire as to when they were going to arrive. I was told it would be 8:30AM - great. At 8:25, Tyler called and kindly said that Jeremy had experienced a delay and that he'd be out to my house at 9. He was apologetic. No problem. Both Jeremy and Tyler arrived at 8:50. I was happy that two guys had come to perform the service. After introducing themselves, the first thing they asked was if it was OK to have shoes in the house. I thanked them for asking and told them I'd prefer no shoes. They went out to their van and got some booties. I showed them to the room for the install and discussed the work a little. I had an existing switched outlet in the room that I always left on. I asked them to disconnect the light switch for this outlet and use it for the dimmer switch they were about to install. "No problem," they said. I talked about the actual placement on the ceiling and asked about acceptable wattages and approximate coverage of the light given off. They were very thorough in discussing and answering all of my questions. The last questions I asked of them was to have the trim rings on the cans match the existing recessed lights in the rest of my house. They said they'd do their best. With that, I left them to their work. About 10 minutes later they called me into the room to see where they had marked out the locations of the fixtures, but before they had actually made any cuts. Everything looked great to me. About two hours later it was all done. They said they didn't have the matching trim rings with them, but had taken a picture and dimensions for their supplier to acquire them. The cost was a wash with the existing included trim rings so I didn't have to pay a penny extra for matching trim rings! Tyler said the trim rings would come in within a week and he'd stop by to install them or, if I approved, leave them on my doorstep so that I could install them (which I'm completely comfortable with). Notable things: 1. It's a small thing, but they were kind enough to ask to use the restroom in the house, which I appreciated. 2. I was happy enough with their service that I asked them to bid another piece of work for me while they were onsite. Later that day, I received a PDF via e-mail with the details of the bid. Awesome! 3. They have slick electronic billing and invoicing and were able to take my credit card on the spot for payment of tax (which cannot be included in the deal since it's collected at the rate where the work is performed). 4. They wore Switch Electric shirts, which seemed professional to me. 5. I wil definitely have these guys back again. They were up front about being a little late, they came earlier than predicted, they didn't nickel and dime me above and beyond the deal, and they were professional and friendly about everything.

There were some tricky areas of install, but they did great! Thanks Tyler & Jeremy!!! I feel confident that they did a safe, efficient job. I would never use a "handyman" for any electrical work..too risky..They didn't mind my little Yorkies running around either!

VERY prompt, professional and courteous service. In fact, they arrived a little early which is amazing as I have had to wait hours for some contractors in the past. My 125 amp panel needed to be upgraded to 200 amp. Jeremy and one other electrician upgraded the panel and replaced and grounded about 8 outlets in the house. They were very patient with me and explained what they was being done with the panel, etc. Originally I thought I needed 5 old outlets replaced. Years ago I had replaced some of the outlets but them but not all. I have been wanting to get the remainder done so they all look fresh and new and grounded. Once Jeremy started moving furniture to replace the hard to reach outlets, we found more that I had forgotten about. They moved my furniture (some quite heavy) to get to all remaining outlets, cleaned up any mess, moved furniture back. I really love the look of new outlets everywhere! Next, they arranged for the inspection of the upgraded panel. The inspector found a few very minor issues that were actually issues from previous work done by another electrician. BUT Switch came out immediately and fixed them in no time - no extra charge even though it was not their work. On this same trip, I also asked them to fix an internet cable that ran from the downstairs game room (son's XBOX) to my office upstairs to my router. The clip had broken off at the end and would not clip into the router. Jeremy fixed this for me as well on this trip and they did not charge me for this. Great company, honest, hardworking employees. Great guys, positive attitudes. I highly recommend them! Great value too!

Well, the only problem I have with them is they demanded TAX on top of what I already had paid to Angies List.I have bought many deals from Angies List and they specifically say that you don't have to pay ANYTHING to the contractor. However, these guys demanded that the money paid to ANGIESLIST didn't include TAXES. This was very unethical in my view.Never has any other contractor through Angies List demanded that. I am not saying that I have problem in paying TAXES but that always has been included in what you pay to Angies List when you buy a deal.

Kory arrived early for the scheduled appointment was friendly and professional. He listened while I explained the issue and was clear about what was covered by the coupon and what would incur additional charges. If the problem had extended beyond just the one outlet I would have ended up paying more than just the tax on 125. I appreciated the honesty and professionalism as I do not like to be surprised by additional charges half way through a job. Kory promptly fixed the issue (which luckily was a minor one) and gave me the rough estimates I requested for future electrical jobs. I live in Bothell/Mill Creek area and will recommend this company to all of my friends and neighbors .Kory was extremely kind and patiently answered questions I had about aluminum vs. copper wiring and lighting possibilities. I had a very good first experience with Switch Electric and will definitely call them for future jobs!

The person who answered the phone and made the appointment for an estimate was friendly and professional. The electrician even came on President's day which is a holiday. He was on time and professional. When he returned the following day with the part to fix the fan he was on time, quick, and accurate.

We can not say enough nice things about Switch Electric! They responded to our message immediately for an estimate to install a ceiling fan and look over a can lighting problem in our kitchen. Kory came to the house on time, was very courteous, polite and professional. We even appreciated that he wiped his feet before coming in! (You would be surprised the number of people who do not.) During the estimate, he looked over everything, gave detailed explanations and approximate quote in a very timely manner. Before leaving, he entered everything in his IPAD and I had a quote sent to my email before he even left. Gotta love it! The day of the install, Kory and his coworker (sorry forgot his name) arrived on time and again were very personable. They got to work right away, offered suggestions on placement/functionality of the fan, and worked with us on our expectations. They placed drop cloths over the bed and once everything was complete they even vacuumed. I told them not to worry about the vacuuming and they let me know the job was not done until everything was cleaned up. (Music to my ears.) When they were in the attic, they looked over the can lighting problem and found insulation stuffed inside (which they removed) causing the problem. Since removing the insulation, the lighting is working perfectly and we have not had any other problems with it. Just as before, I had an itemized invoice in my email before they left. I believe from the time they arrived until they left was about 1.5 hours. On this particular day, we had 2 young children running around and a dog. Both guys were not in the least bothered by the children or the dog and were patient with them. We were very impressed with their excellent customer service, electrical knowledge and strong work ethic. We would definitely recommend them to others and use them again ourselves, should the need arrive.

This is the first time I've used Switch Electric, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Switch showed up early after calling first to ask if that would be okay. Switch quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem, and explained it to me. Switch fixed the problem, and took the additional step of replacing the light fixture I had not completed. Switch further replaced a thermostat. All this was done in a friendly and professional manner. Further, Switch made observations and gave recommendations of electrical improvements/ upgrades that could be made in the home, and it was done in a casual way without any pressure. Overall, Switch did more than I asked of them. I will use them any time I'm in need of an electrician, and I will recommend them to everyone I can.

When all of the lights in my kitchen and half of the laundry room lights went out I knew there was a problem. The circuit breaker had not been tripped so I flipped it several times and they would not come on. I went on Angies list to look for an electrician and saw Switch Electric with a coupon for $125.00 amazing price. I called and made an appointment for the following Monday (this stuff always happens on Friday). My appointment was for 2:00. Kory arrived about 10 minutes before 2:00. He explained the coupon to me and proceeded to locate my problem. It was a loose wire that went to the lights and he had it fixed and was on his way around 2:35. I would HIGHLY recommend switch Electric to anyone with electrical problems.They have restored my faith in the service industry!! They are RELIABLE, HONEST, FAIR, and you don't have to wait 2 weeks to get your problem fixed. THANK YOU SWITCH ELECTRIC!! Charlotte

Scheduling was simple via email. Corey called earlier in the day of our appointment to say he finished his earlier job, and would it be okay if he came over sooner. That was a nice plus to have him arrive earlier than our appointment. I had just had the hardwood floors refinished in the house, and asked Corey to please be careful with his ladder and tools. He was very conscientious: wore coverings on his shoes, laid down a drop cloth for his ladder and tool box. He determined that the switch was broken (from age), and did a few other tests to make sure that was the only issue. He replaced the switch (I'm grateful he had one in his van), made sure everything was working well. After the job was complete, he offered to look at my electrical panel and the outer connections between the utility's incoming wire and outside of my house, meter. As it's an older house, he was not surprised to find that both were out of code, and he discussed with me the importance of replacing them - starting with the panel first. I have no doubt that my electrical items are old; however, I do wonder when I get the "oh, this is a potential fire hazard" talk. There is nothing in Corey's demeanor or what he said that would lead me to doubt him. But I do wonder how critical it is to replace both and how quickly. I was surprised that I was asked to pay the tax after the job was done. With other Angie's List Deals I did not have to pay additional money for the service I had purchased.

The outlets on one side of the wall in one of my apartment units didn't work. Had a couple of contractors who worked on remodels there take a look of it, but neither could figure out what was wrong. I joined Angie's list this month and thought I would give it a try with the company who has A rating. I am absolutely delighted with the service from Switch Electric. Cory arrived on time at the apartment without me being there. Fixed the dead outlets. My tenant was so happy they now work!!! I asked Cory to email me a copy of the invoice for my expense record. He sent to me shortly after my request. Later I asked him to change/correct the name and address info which was not a big deal and certainly didn't expect him to get back to me quickly. I also asked him what the electrical problem was since I was not at the apartment. He emailed back to me within a day with the corrected invoice and explaination of the problem he discovered. Not only I am pleased with the quality of work they did, but also the way they responsed to their customer. I highly recommend this company and will certainly return if there is any electrical need in the future. Thank you Cory. Thank you Tyler also for your quick response to my phone calls.

They were very reasonable and very very professional when they came to my home. I would definitely use them in the future.

Due to the inclement weather I was not expecting Switch Electric to come out as scheduled, but Jeremy and a co-worker arrived a half-hour early. Gold star for service on a day when most of Western Washington was snowed in. Fortunately, my electrical issue was minor and easy to resolve. Jeremy passed on a few tips to avoid future mishaps, and also provided a quote to replace some aging heaters in our upstairs bedrooms. I cannot be happier with the service that was provided, from the people who answered the phone to the people who performed the work.

My wife and I are absolutely delighted with Switch Electric and will use them again and again. They earned a customer for life.

Excellent - Jeremy came out, was to the minute on time (he actually was early but waited outside until the appointment!) He immediately started working, found the shorted out wire quickly. Along the way he replaced some cheap connectors / wire nuts etc. Coud not have been better.
