Quick, no mess, in and out, job accomplished

He arrived on time, was courteous and professional. I always ask a lot of questions, and he was willing to answer. Very professional and friendly and efficient.

They came when he said they would. Kory called in advance to let me know he was on his way. He looked at my job and discovered the problem. Fixed it in a way that I felt good about it. He did his job well and with care and the price was more than fair. But there was more to this visit than just the repair. We own a dog and when Kory arrived and I showed him the problem while our dog stood right in the middle of our conversation. Kory asked since I was a dog owner whether I knew of a place he could get a dog scanned for the ID chip. He said he'd found a really sweet dog at a work site that seemed lost. The dog was very healthy, but dirty, scared and hungry. He gone to neighboring homes trying to find the owners and no one had ever seen the dog. So he thought he'd try and find out if it was chipped. He doesn't know much about dogs or vets, or how to find a lost pet's home. He had the dog in his truck and the way he cared for the dog and how sincere he was in finding the dog's home really impressed me. I felt a little foolish for this simple electrical fix that maybe others could have figured out, but the thing I came away with was that I could trust him, and he didn't make me feel like an idiot for not being able to figure this out for myself.

The experience was wonderful. The electrician diagnosed the problem and offered solutions and installed the ceiling fan remote and controls for only sixty-five dollars. A figure I though was more than reasonable given all the work he had to do.

It went very well overall. I called them for a bid (see above). They gave me a bid and told me that they were booked solid for 2 weeks. I found a company that did the work for less and within 2 days of my call. So I called Switch and they cancelled the appointment. They were very professional throughout,

I purchased the company's recessed lighting services through Angie's the Big Deal list. The people showed up on time. Actually I came late and they left already but when I called them they came back and performed all the job punctually and with very pleasant manner

At the end of the day, we were charged a grand total of $732.59!!! The electrician that came out informed us that it would cost an additional $300 for him to run a circuit extension a few inches from an existing power outlet!! No where in the fine print did it mention that a customer would incur an extra charge for not having an existing switch light! To us, that was a $300 assumption! So, it sounds to us in retrospect that the deal was only for the 4 6" can lights. They had no intention of installing a switch light so that the lights could actually function! Interestingly, it does state in big bold lettering: $419 FOR 4 CANS OF 6" RECESSED LIGHTING WITH DIMMER SWITCH INSTALLED!!! The fine print only mentions the following as incurring additional costs: Ceilings with no attic access may incur additional cost for drywall repair & Each light comes with standard white or black baffle, other trims are additional cost. So really they would have installed the dimmer switch but not have provided power to it.....wait, yes, they would have but that woud cost you extra!! At the end of the day, we felt completely taken advantage of! That extra work that we paid $300 additional dollars for took no more than 10 minutes to do and at that it was not worth $300, it was really $50 worth. We would have never purchased this deal if the truth of what we were getting were honestly and accurately depicted. It was an utter ripe off! That same day, once the electrician electronically sent me the invoice for the work, I tried to call the office to speak to someone about the charges. I called in the afternoon during business hours (it was probably around 2pm) and nobody answered the phone. I ended up playing phone tag with someone by the name of Tyler and I finally gave up trying to communicate over the phone and sent them an email. I heard back an hour or so later via email with an explanation of charges. He told me that he was sorry that the information about the extra charge was not listed on the Angie's Deal and said they should have been more clear. In the same email he also told me that he didn't want me to feel like we were taken advantage of. I replied to him and told him, yes, we did feel taken advantage of. There was no response to that last email I sent and that was almost 2 weeks ago. In the end, we will not be purchasing any more of Angie's Deals and certainly would not be doing any future business with Switch Electric. A complete ripe off on all levels and for future members who have bought this deal and not had the work performed yet...BEWARE!

This company was very responsive to my request for service as I had family coming into town and was worried since my upstairs had no electricity. The company kept me informed when they needed to change my appointment time to a later time. Then due to a change they were actually able to come sooner. After fixing my electrical issue the tech provided an excellent estimate to update the eletrical panel and add additional circuits in our 1978 home and explained everything to me in detail without getting lost in the technical mumbo jumbo. We are planning on using this company for the upgrade of our electric box in the very near future.

Everything was dealt with very smoothly with all the required permits and follow up. I was impressed with Tylers professionalism and nice manner both on the phone and in email. He responded promptly to both as well. The guys who came were really young (or maybe I'm just getting really old!) but they knew what they were doing. They seemed very willing to make sure things were just right. There was a problem afterwards with two of the interior switches which blew out during the work, they promptly came and fixed them with no questions asked. They are a really nice company to deal with. Happy to recommend them.

He was punctual and efficient. Both times, I experienced great service. He also made suggestions,and wrote up a bid for replacing my aging service panel as well.

Cory called to say he was feeling under the weather but would stop for parts and be at my house within the hour. Even though he didn't feel well, he was personable and completed the job within three hours. He told me they were booked for the next three weeks and didn't want to leave me high and dry. To help out, I walked the house to help him with labeling the breakers. Great job!

It went well. Have called them again to replace my 33-year-old electric panel.

I originally hired Switch to insall recessed lighting through an Angie's List Big Deal. They did such a good job that I hired them for several more electrical projects. I was very pleased with all of their work and will hire them again the next time I need electrical work done.

I was warned when I bought the good deal that it might take a while to get an appointment because of the number of responses, so I called right away. The company set an appointment for that very week. The day they were scheduled to come, they called and asked if they could come early, which was great by me. I was concerned because the gfi is near the lake and it was supposed to rain that day, so I thought maybe they would not be able to do the work. Sure enough, when they showed up it started to pour. But the two electricians worked in the rain and did a great job! I will definitely use them if I need electrical work in the future.

They did their usual fine job. They arrived at the appointed time, were ready to work and had all the materials they needed. They were quick, competent, professional and clean. Couldn't ask for more.

They were extraordinary. They have excellent knowledge and follow through. The workmen were very customer friendly. They solved a big problem on their own.

He was fabulous. He was extremely competent, fast, and friendly. I would certainly recommend him to others.

There were several issues due to oddities of construction in my condo but Switch did a great job in getting past them. Duct work and drywall repair are not their strong suit but I would defintely use them again for electrical.

We had a bathroom fan break down. My husband experimented with replacing it, but didn't have the time or knowledge to complete the job. Cory from Switch Electric was fast, efficient, neat & managed to install the new fan - a different make/size than our previous one - without any hassles.
