In spite of poor weather conditions, wind, snow and rain, the generator was hooked up as planned, on time. The electrician was thorough, responsive and left our switch box in the garage in better shape than it was before--although the house was not more than 8 years old, the wiring was originally poorly labeled. They carefully check all circuits and corrected the errors found from the original. They were carefully to help us understand the intricacies of how the switch over works.

Estimate scheduling was less than 1 week, actual service was another 10 days. Very responsive and courteous.

They only thing I think they could do better is communication. I think sometimes there is a lot of miscommunicationon their part, other than that their work is good.

It's a challenging, once-neglected house; Switch Electric helped three years ago to upgrade it from knob-and-tube. Tyler and Bryan truly know the "bones" and "quirks" of this place, and no one else could be trusted except them, and Switch Electric, to do the work, and do it well.

They knocked it out without a problem.

The chandelier was more than a little complicated, with parts too small for their hands to fit. They jerry-rigged a tool on the spot to accommodate the situation and installed the chandelier perfectly.

Their installation was calculated and perfectly executed and done correctly the first time, and was in strict compliance with all state and local code requirements. Tyler and his crew were very responsive, professional, and courteous. During this busy time of year with everyone needing generators installed, they went out of their way to make sure we had our generator operational by Thanksgiving. We also needed our electrical panel replaced so they were able to replace the panel and install the generator at the same time. I sincerely appreciate the effort put out by Switch to get this job completed, we will definitely be using Switch again for our electrical needs. Thanks guys for going above and beyond!

Jeremy and Bret did a fantastic job at installing lighting throughout our home. Truly professional and friendly, my wife and I are extremely impressed at the quality work that was done. They installed several new 3 way switches, new wire for a separate laundry light, new light in an entrance closet, outdoor light and outlet, new USB outlet for charging, new arc fault switches in the electric panel, relocated the dining area light box, replaced switches. It was done quick, clean and with minimal damage to walls.

Prompt, professional, communicated any concerns or changes needed, sensitive to our needs.

Bryan was fantastic!! Very professional, friendly and informative. We also had him give us an estimate for two ceiling fans installed in our home. We will be having Switch doing all our electrical needs!!

This is my second time using Switch for my electrical needs. First time I used them in May 2016, they installed two attic fans, five Caseta light switch's and created a new outlet behind my wall mounted 70 inch TV to hide the ugly wiring that was hanging down. Second time they installed a hookup on the side of my house for my new generator. I am very impressed with everything they have done. The electricians are very knowledgeable, polite, fast working and make sure they are providing excellent customer service at all times. Switch Electric has my business for good. I feel comfortable here on out not even getting second quotes from any other companies for any electrical needs. I trust them completely. They were also great with my two dogs and four year old daughter running around!

We had been trying to find a company to do yearly maintenance as well as any servicing for our Generac generator after having unsatisfactory results from our previous contractor. Last year our generator stopped operating our furnace during power outages and after spending hundreds of dollars on 3 different contractors the source of the problem could not be found. We had Switch come out after seeing a number of positive reviews for them on Angie"s List. Jeremy was the electrician that arrived and we were really pleased to have someone here who not only knew what he was doing in regards to our generator but was very pleasant, helpful and easy to talk to. In the course of doing the yearly maintenance he noticed a worn part, easy for us to replace, that turned out to be the reason the furnace didn't run on the generator power. We can't thank Jeremy enough for his keen eye and meticulousness and will certainly be using him and Switch for all our generator servicing in the future as well as any other electrical needs.

Went well however is not done they need to come for the trimming phase, Tyler and Jeremy very professional and great electricians - Switch Electric has an outstanding customer service ready to help. I will add pictures when the project is completed

This review is a bit overdue. I had a electrical circuit that was acting up for several months. The lights and outlets associated with one of our home's electrical circuits would stop working every now and then without popping the circuit breaker. At first I thought it might be the GFI outlet in the bathroom. I replaced the outlet by myself, but that didn't resolve the problem. Using Angie's List positive reviews, I selected Switch Electric to help me troubleshoot the problem. It took a few iterations. Their first visit they charged for an hour's worth of troubleshooting. Two electricians arrived, on time. They both worked very hard to try and find the problem within the hour. They found several problems with the circuit, eventually focusing on replacing older light and electrical outlets. After three visits they were able to get everything working normally again. I give them high marks for promptness, professionalism, and the quality of their work. Their costs were comparable with similar electrical contractors, but since I don't have a lot of experience with these kinds of costs, I'm probably not a good judge. I asked for and received a quote for future services. I intend to use their services again as needed.

Excellent! Tyler (the owner) came out (this company is very busy, so if you would like work done, schedule as soon as you know, as there is a waiting list) and spent quality time with us going through the inside and outside of the home, explaining recommendations. Very professional and on time. Jeremy and ____? (apprentice) were here for two full days doing the work and were professional, diligent, respectful and courteous. We have 2 dogs, 3 cats (all indoor) and were conscious of how important it was that none slip outside. It was necessary to work in the crawl space and attic, to work outside as well as indoors and we couldn't have been more pleased in their abilities and capabilities.

They clearly know their stuff and would hire again. Just wish the cost was a little less expensive.
