We had purchased a generator from a Generac dealer locally, but found out that it was not a good one after the fact and they had no certified repair person so warranty work would not be paid by Generac. After 3 months of waiting for old dealer to fix we finally got a hold of Switch and Tyler the owner of Switch. Tyler came out tried to fix machine but it was not worth fixing and was unreliable even with new parts installed so he told us to upgrade to a better unit. So couple weeks later he came out with crew and installed new machine, set it all up on WIFI and computer for us and did not charge us for the service call on the previous old machine. Very professional and detail oriented . Make sure if you buy a generator that they have certified repair person, would highly recommend this dealer.

Turned out to be a plug that had moister in the wiring from a room we never use. The room was cold and damp before I replaced my window and after I replaced the windows that's when the problem showed up. And it cost less then they stated over the phone. I would use them again if needed

These folks are absolutely terrific. The project unfolded over several months: we built a deck and gazebo. The Switch guys came out early in the process to lay cable, preparing us for construction. Once the structure was up, they came back and installed an outdoor plug, switch, and overhead fixture. They arrived exactly on time and made quick work of the project. They were careful to center the conduit behind the outdoor curtains to minimize the visual impact. A nice touch! This is our second time working with Switch, and it was a great experience, once again. We simply won't work with anyone else!

It went very well. There was a slight problem at the half way point but Aaron (the senior electrician onsite) did a fantastic job of making adjustments. Tyler is a consummate professional and stopped by the job to make sure we were 100% satisfied. We will definitely use Switch again.

Switch Electric was a good partner in helping us select and install a 16kw generator at our home in October 2018. They are very professional, communicative, and timely. The installation team was very friendly, courteous, great at communicating what they were doing, how to run the generator, etc. They managed the permitting process, scheduling the electrical review, etc. They ran into a couple hiccups along the way, but were very honest and proactive in resolving all issues. I would gladly recommend them and use them again. Great team and very reputable company.

The entire process of working with Switch Electric went great. The bid process was easy and upfront. The pay portal works great and the office staff was quick to get me on the schedule. Colby, Dan and Bryce worked on my house which had multiple issues from DIY work through the years. Some of the work they did. - Replaced a breaker box which involved multiple aspects of troubleshooting (additional framing, and multiple not-to-code deficiencies) - Identified numerous hard to find issues in the attic and crawlspace and resolved them quickly - Installed multiple electric heaters - Installed runs and outlets - Installed lights and smart-switches When Colby and Dan ran into a surprise issue they were upfront with possible options and different ways to safely solve it. They walked my wife and I through everything they did line by line on the work order and answered any questions at any time. I highly recommend Switch Electric

Excellent! Switch Electric scheduled the assessment for my house and did a walkthrough with me. We did an assessment on the Generator and Solar Panels. We then scheduled the install for the Generator. They confirmed and sent followup confirmation the week before. The Day of the installation, the first person to my house did a walkthrough with me again on what they were going to do and how long it would take. The installers let me know when they were going to cut power for the installation and the tests. They were extremely courteous and professional. After the install, they helped get the Inspection scheduled. Great experience. Competitive prices. Couldn't ask for more!

Technician very polite and punctual. The switch was not a very extensive job needed, but performed well and to our satisfaction. Also changed the 3 light bulbs outside and did stay for the hour to help us troubleshoot another concern. Electrician costs are high in general, but I was aware of the price and approved the job because it was worth it to us. Thank you.

Switch is great to work with . We had 3 pages of line items that kept 4 guys busy for 1.5 days on an older house. Joe made great recommendations as he made discoveries. Some items were overlooked (there was a lot happening) and they were quick to respond and make it right. A true test of a great company is how they can manage issues that arise and Tyler and his crew are amazing. You can trust these guys.

We expanded our deck this summer—finishing and waterproofing the underside to create a new outdoor entertainment space below it. The electrical work involved running new power conduits from our main panel to the back of the house and installing new LED ceiling lights and heaters for the space. At the start of construction we met with Switch's owner/estimator (Tyler Keezer) and our main contractor (Trevor Daley of Urban Oasis, LLC) to outline the project requirements. We decided out what kinds of lights and heaters we needed, where to place the switches, and how to route the new power to the back. Tyler proposed the we bring the power through the ceiling of our garage and then our basement studio to.get to the new rear patio. The work was done in two phases. After the deck was framed out, the Switch crew (Colby and Dan) came out to add a couple of AFCI circuits to our main panel and run the power out to the deck at the rear of the house. I appreciated not only the care and quality of their work, but also their flexibility and ingenuity in working out, on the spot, a better way to route the power lines around the outside of the house to avoid any sheetrock damage, patching, and repainting by bringing it through the basement ceiling as was the original plan. The work had been permitted and our city inspector pronounced it excellent. A few weeks later, when the carpentry was complete and the new ceiling installed, Colby and Dan returned to do the final installation of the light fixtures, heaters, and switches. (We went with a Lutron-Caseta system so that we could have wired dimmer switches inside the house and a wireless remote switch out on the patio.). Before leaving, Dan was also helpful in figuring out for us which of the wires running along the side of the house were legacy landline phone and satellite coax so we could remove them and neaten up the appearance of the building. We've worked with Switch Electric on a variety of projects since moving to our house two years ago, beginning with correcting a list of items that turned up in our pre-purchase inspection report and moving on to installing new lighting in several rooms, an overhead fan our master bedroom, a standby generator, and hanging new pendant light fixtures in our dining room and main entry. Their pricing is fair. Their work is excellent. Their cleanup is immaculate. They are always ready to answer questions and make adjustments based on my concerns. I've been a satisfied and repeat customer for two years. PS: Just passed final inspection.

Great job. Good communication via email with Tyler, the owner, regarding my needs and ballpark estimate and ways to save money(buy fan from him and save shipping cost). His cost exactly what vendor was selling to me for. Very specific estimate including they would obtain the required electrical permit from City of Issaquah. Very punctual despite driving from lake Stevens to Issaquah. Electricians, Jeremy and Brett were professional and cleaned everything up. They also realized I didn't need one of the estimated items and saved me some money. Office staff called me and arranged the required electrical inspection. Highly recommend this very professional company--personable too.

Work was awesome. They had to deal with two knuckle head dogs and my wife's in-home daycare kids. They even found and fixed what could of become a fire hazard from some previous new wiring installations. We were going to go with 5 can lights in our living room. They talked us in to 6. Really glad they did. The lighting is perfect. Makes our formerly 2 plug in light living room look and feel great. They sent reminders that they were coming (very helpful in our busy lives).

Switch is now my "go to " for any electrical work. They were very responsive and flexible in scheduling, always keeping me updated. They arrive on time every single time and sometimes called to see if they could come 15-30 minutes earlier then scheduled. The completed the work in a timely fashion(above and beyond) and answered all questions, concerns and spent time showing me how things worked and what to do.

Although at first I was told it would take weeks to get a bid, Laurie said they had a cancellation and Bryan was able to come same day to give us a bid. Bryan arrived exactly on time. He was very knowledgable, describing in detail what needs to be done to run a new 60amp 240V sub panel feed to our detached garage (including trenching) and other tasks. He prepared a bid immediately after a careful walkthrough of the panel, the garage, and the area between, and the bid is quite reasonable. We will be hiring them and leave a new review when the work is completed. We are very favorably impressed with Switch Electric.

Switch Electric was quick to respond and set up an estimate during the busiest season. When The electrician (Brian) saw that I did not need my breaker or breaker wire upgraded, he offered to troubleshoot the problem. Turns out, I had incorrectly installed the electrical on my water heater. He went above and beyond to fix the issue and clean up some of the mess I had made with the installation. The cost was resonable, the staff acted professionally, and the work was well executed.

We've had Switch Electric out to do quite a bit of electrical work on our home - everything from adding electric vehicle charging to outlet troubleshooting to running Ethernet cable, and I've always been impressed with them and their work. They are always professional, courteous, and the work itself is excellent. This latest project came about fairly quickly - we had previously expressed interest in Solar, and were thinking of doing so next year. In discussing with Tyler in May, he made me aware that the current Washington State incentive was set to reduce at the end of June, so it may be worth running the numbers to see if we could make it work this year instead. Tyler had me follow up with Jeremy if it made sense to go ahead (which it did if we could get it done in time). Jeremy was my main contact for the solar install, and all of my interactions with him just reinforced why I like Switch for all of our electrical work. Jeremy patiently answered all of my questions, and gave me excellent advice on what we didn't need (for example explaining why I probably didn't need a battery backup right now given the cost vs benefits). They'd be happy to install anything I wanted, but he encouraged me to look into some alternatives or wait until prices reduced. He also explained the technology they were planning to use (power optimizers with a central inverter) and gave an overview of the whole process. He certainly knows his stuff - and I appreciate him recommending a significantly cheaper setup than I had been planning. Given the compressed timeline to get everything lined up and inspected prior to the end of June, I had been a bit nervous things would be a mad rush (especially given we had a 2 week old baby heading into June and had little time). Switch took care of everything they possibly could, only taking my time when absolutely needed to sign paperwork. I'm sure things were a rush on their end, but we never felt it and were able to focus on our new baby. The install took about a week including everything, with Jeremy and Brett doing the install. Despite some last minute hiccups with parts being available (with the project coming together so quickly) everything finished on schedule and our new solar installation looks and works great! Thanks to both Jeremy and Brett for their patience in being interrupted during the process to answer questions, and for their quick responses to our emails afterwards! A final note - we also had other work done by Switch at the same time, and at one point I think we had just under half of the company out at once doing various installs. I wanted to focus this review on the Solar install we had done, but the rest of the work went excellently as usual and I appreciate the hard work from everyone else too! Thanks Switch! I will definitely hire Switch Electric for all my home electrical needs! Very professional and reasonably priced. Bryan explained very clearly what was needed to fix my concerns. I have already scheduled for the repairs needed. They have definitely earned my trust and business!
