With all old houses there were many hidden problems.  Bob and his crew were very smart and creative coming up with  sound solutions to these problems.   We did the job over three summers so we could spread cost over time.  Always on time.  Only took on one job at a time so we knew they were always coming to work on our project.
 They also fixed some problems caused by a previous contractor.  Bob found these problems and fixed them.  Bob has years of experience  and it shows. I highly recommend this company for any type of home construction.

Fabulously wonderful.   I have never been unhappy with anything he has handled for me.  I wish I could give him A++ in some of the ratings.

All services completed as scheduled and within the estimates provided at time of contract.  Work order changes were accepted.  When requested, alternatives to provide optimum cost and outcome (functionality, appearance) were provided.  Taylor is a very competent provider and is particularly skilled at fine finish work including installation of cabinetry, tile and complex moldings.  

Taylor has maintained a style book on our property and works hard to maintain consistency with the integrity of design and quality of finish of the original construction.   Taylor is licensed, bonded and insured (documented) and meticulous in his observance of plans, codes and compliance.  He works well with others, and coordinated the work of several of our other contracts and providers (cabinet makers, dry waller, painters) on our behalf.  

Taylor's work is not inexpensive.  That said, the quality of the work  product and the efficiency of the contractor relationship and ethic he brings make it a good value.  His expertise is in planned projects, in part because of his scheduling scheme and in part because of his method of execution.  He apparently begins one contract at a time, completing it before moving on to the next.  He makes appropriate contingency time estimates - he has met both start and finish dates comfortably in our experience.  

Two anecdotal observations:  One, Taylor has declined to bid work when he feels it is outside his expertise or might be better completed by a specialist.  Two, he has been in business some 35 years.  Both his candor and experience inspire confidence.  A very good residential construction resource.
