We had Jim clear our 5 acre property for horse pasture use. He had all the right equipment and strategies for the most efficient methods. Jim is a true pro at what he does!

Overall it was a good experience. Hired him to build a retaining wall and grade a large section of my backyard. I took a couple stars off for a few things; 1) He never came back to finish filling in the front of the driveway. I know it's not a good idea to pay before the job is completed, but it was such a small area I took the risk. Don't make the same mistake. 2) Lack of attention to detail and laziness. He had to move a few railroad ties out of the way in order to fill and grade the backyard. He set them to the side on an already level part of the yard. When it came time to put top soil down to finish the job, he decided to put top soil around the railroad ties rather than move them out of the way. I know they're heavy, but I moved them out of the way by myself in 20 minutes. He also decided to drive his excavator on top of the top soil after it was down and leveled. He left large tracks in it. 3) I had to do a bunch of extra work I was not expecting to do in order to finish the project. I had to buy and put down additional top soil in some spots and I had to level the top soil again. Not a ton of work, but I don't have the means to get top soil to my house, so several trips and more money when it should have been part of the original job.
Response from Recycle Soils
"I completed Brad's project as agreed. The work he said was not completed was not part of the original agreement. He wanted the timber left there so he could use them for the landscaping that he was doing after I was done If he needed more topsoil after I was finished he should have called me and I would have brought more topsoil in and fixed his problem!! He never tried to contact me about his problem!"

Jim has been doing this type of work for years. once he got started things went smooth. my driveway is 460 feet long. he bladed it, and put crushed asphalt down. then he used a roller to compact the crushed asphalt. i believe crushed asphalt is dirt, gravel and recycled asphalt that are remnants of asphalt from previous jobs. he is returning in a couple weeks to re-compact the driveway. we are quite pleased. Jim's estimate was $3600.00 LESS than the next guy that gave me an estimate. done. Roger.

Under quoted the other guys and got the job done well and quickly! Blackberry removal on about 2 acres and French drains with downspouts. Everyone says our property looks like a completely new property because it is so clean and open now! Was able to work with our two big horses checking everything out. Great guy and easy to work with!
