Ralph's is an employee owned company with two partners curerently serving you. All work is performed by Ralphs employeees. General contractors lic RALPHPW935DE Electrical lic RALPHPW939KW. Standard rates are a service call fee of $195.00. Service call covers travel to an from site and maximun of 1/2 hr of diagnostic time. Hourly rates are $135.00 per man hr, a service call with hoist (for removing, and installing submersible pumps) $175.00 with a $20.00 per hr additional charge for hoist. ie. one man w/hoist $165.00 per hr two man with hoist $300.00 per hr

Pump replacement. Quoted me $21K after taxes and wouldn't give a quote until they came out and saw my house and charged 300$ for the quote. next guy I called gave a quote sight unseen (provided I diagnosed right) (which I did 😎) and did it for under $7K the next day in under 4 hours. Oh and Ralph's said I'd have to remove my entire flower bed for access and the next guy easily worked around it.

Dave was great. Knowledgeable and friendly. When I first described my problem he diagnosed the problem over the phone. The water pressure was pulsing and the pump would come on every few minutes even when all spigots were closed. He said, "it's all caused by your pressure tank." I had a suspicion the tank had failed as when I tapped in it's side it made a dull thud indicating it was full of water instead of having bladder full of air. After Dave installed the new tank he was proved right. Steady stream of water and the pump no longer cycled on and off. Very pleased with Ralph's Pump and Well and would hire again.

Our pump broke and we were looking for someone who might have the necessary parts to repair it - and quickly! We were completely without water. I spoke with someone who was unsure if he had the parts but said he'd call back within a few hours. He called back when he said he would and had the parts for repair (if the problem was actually what we thought). I was told Tom would be at our house the next morning at 8 am (the soonest time that worked for us and them). He showed up on time, was very polite and friendly, and fixed our pump quickly.

Ralph's Pump & Well Service impressed me from my first phone call to them through the service they performed. The person I spoke with on the phone was polite, personable, and informative. His price sounded reasonable and he was able to come to my house within a couple days. Two men arrived at my house, the one I had spoken with on the phone and one other person. I was immediately struck by their great personalities and by how easy they both were to talk with. They were really nice about answering all my questions and explaining the situation to me. When they repaired my water pump, they repaired a problem I had had for a number of years that other pump repair businesses had not been able to figure out. Everything is now working like a charm for the first time in several years, and it didn't take them long to diagnose the problem and perform the repair. I will definitely use Ralph's Pump & Well again and highly recommend them.

Came to troubleshoot a well not working. I had it figured out before he arrived, but he came and looked at the system for me anyway. Sold me a new pressure tank, which was probably necessary. Felt he charged a little more than was warranted for a trip charge given I just paid him for a pressure tank and that labor. The guy was friendly and worked quickly. Only issue I had really was that I felt a little taken at the end when I noticed the trip surcharge added to the total he quoted me before I authorized the work.

The original installment went very well, they were on time and did a great job.
But the really amazing thing was the service we got after the pump was installed. For no apparent reason our pump stopped pumping. It took several phone calls with the owner because he was trying to save us money. He would tell us what to check while we were on the phone with him. When none of those attempts resolved the problem, he sent out one of his service men who was also amazing. He spent a couple of hours checking things out and finally decided it had to be a failure of some sort with our unit. He replaced the control panel on the pump with a new one and took the old one, saying he would try to get the company to warranty it, as the pump was only 2 years old.
A couple of weeks later it quit again. We went through the same routine with the owner and again he sent the service man out. This time a mouse had chewed trough a wire. He repaired that and everything was up and running.
NOW, here is the part that is unbelievable. THEY NEVER CHARGED US A CENT FOR ALL THIS SERVICE!!!!! I am talking nothing. This is like the old days when people stood behind their work and did their best to help the customer. I am in awe of these guys.
If you ever need a pump installed or work on your exisitiing well you would be absolutely crazy to call anyonme but these people.
.Dave is wonderful and so is his staff. Oh, and he answers his phone himself! On the weekend!

They were very thorough and he was here for a couple hours and checked not only the well but also the pumps and everything connected to the well. He checked the waterflow from the well and made suggestions for possible fixes that we can do improve the efficiency of the well. He also left us some empty bottles so that we could have the water tested and some suggestions for labs that we could take the samples to. I thought he was very knowledgable. The only issue that we ran in to was that there was some confusion about our address- he had the wrong address so he didn't arrive exactly on time. We thought it was just a small communication problem but other than that he did a very thorough job. It is $250 for inspection but there was a travel charge ($10).
