"It is unfortunate to see that the member is making a completely inaccurate portrayal of this project. We began this project 3 days prior to the day that we had the member scheduled in for originally. We were at his house every time we had indicated we would be there. We install our drywall in the way that will provide the highest quality finish, using our industry experience. We tape our drywall in the same way to provide the highest quality finish. All work on this project was completed beyond industry standards and well beyond our contractual obligations. There were no visible imperfections in the walls or ceiling when we left the project and we have pictures to back this up. The work area was kept immaculate and we also have pictures to back this up. The member had his father supervise the project and we had him check our work and our cleanliness every day when we left the project. We did not leave until his father gave his approval of both items, each time we were there. We also asked the member if he had anything he wanted us to address when we completed the project. He asked us to come back one time and address a few minor imperfections, which we did. We didn't hear anything further from him until he sent in this report. After receiving the report, we tried to contact him to address any concerns he might have, and he wouldn't return the call. Shouldn't he contact us with any concerns? Shouldn't he give us the opportunity to address any issues he might have? Shouldn't he have had a licensed Drywall Inspector look at his project to verify whether or not it met industry standards? The member did none of these. We are not sure what caused the member to make this completely false report and then accuse us of being dishonest. We would be happy to compare our pictures and notes of the project, with his pictures and notes."
"WE WERE JUST MADE AWARE THAT THIS POSTING EXISTS ON THE WEBSITE AND ARE NOW TAKING THE OPPORTUNITY TO PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. FIRST AND FOREMOST, IT SHOULD BE MENTIONED THAT WE HAVE A LETTER FROM THIS CUSTOMER DATED 11/30/05, THE COMPLETION DATE OF THIS PROJECT STATING THAT THE PROJECT "LOOKS GREAT, THANKS. THANKS, AGAIN, FOR YOUR TIME AND WORK." WE ARE NOT SURE WHY THERE WOULD BE A COMPLETE REVERSAL FROM THAT SENTIMENT THEN ON 6/25/06. 1) PAINTING - WE QUALITY INSPECT EVERY PROJECT UPON COMPLETION AND FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF THE ALLEGED NAIL/COBWEBS, NOR WAS ANY MENTION OF IT MADE BY THE CUSTOMER OR SHOWN TO US ON OUR WALK THROUGH ON 11/30/05. 2) WINDOW - THE WALL AND CARPET STAINS WERE PRESENT PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW WINDOW, IN FACT THE LEAKING WAS THE MAJOR REASON FOR THE NEW WINDOW. THE CARPET STAIN WAS REMOVED AS PART OF THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT TO CLEAN THE CARPET AND REMOVE THE STAINS. 3) SHOWING UP - OUR AGREEMENT WAS THAT THE WORK WAS TO BE COMPLETED BY 11/30/05 AND IT WAS. 4) WORK DONE - EXTERIOR VENT COVERS, JOIST HANGERS UNDER PORCH, PATCHED AND PAINTED FRONT DOOR, TRIMMED OUT CABINETS, DID 3 CEILING PATCHES, REPLACED WINDOW, TRIMMED OUT 3 WINDOWS, INSULATED WINDOWS, CLEANED CARPETS, ATTACHED CORNER BEAD, PROVIDED, HUNG, AND PAINTED 3 DOORS AND HARDWARE, PAINTED INTERIOR, ATTACHED MISSING SWITCHPLATES, REGLUED LINOLEUM, PATCHED AND COATED ROOF, DEMO'ED OUT OF CODE PORCH ROOF, AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS. "D" ON PRICE?"
