GTM Auto Repair

I took my car in for regular service and to get the air conditioning repaired. My car is over 9 years old so I expect things to start to go wrong with it. For the air conditioning, Gary narrowed the problem down to the pressure sensor, but after that was replaced, the pressure was getting too high so he had to replace the fan too. During the 180K mile check, he noticed the right CV boot was leaking and replaced it and the left connecting rods were worn, they were also replaced. At each stage Gary called me before starting the work and gave me the cost of the repair.
I have used GTM for my car maintenance and repairs for many years now and have always been satisfied with the service. they do the regular maintenance on cars for warranty purposes as well as repairs. Although this is a small repair shop, the cars are washed by hand and vacuumed before you come to pick them up. You always get a detailed bill which Gary goes over with you. Due to having a foreign car, the cost does tend to be on the high side. The only negative I can say is that Gary does get a lot of business for a small shop and sometimes it can take a bit longer than expected to get the repairs done. However, the repairs are done correctly and the car tested. I don't believe I've ever had to take a car back due to something going wrong after I picked it up. This happened on a regular basis when I was taking the car to the dealership for service.
