I've been a customer of this company for the last five years. The first time I contacted Jeff Garner, he wrote a letter in support of my landscape plans that I was able to send to my homeowner's association to get their approval. I was impressed that he was willing to help me out even though initially his company didn't do work for me. Since then, he has taken care of a variety of projects involving all aspects of my landscape, and I am alway happy with the results. I trust his judgment and the work his folks do, and the fact that he always comes through with solutions that make my large landscape easier to take care of. My landscape received the Mill Creek Sustainable Landscape designation, and I've received the Beautiful Garden award from my association, so I think we are on the right track.

Our best contractor experience ever.
His bid was not the lowest, but it included all the details. Other contractors may give low bids with vague contracts, then come back later charging you for items you thought were included. Jeff doesn't do that. He is upfront and honest.
When we wanted additional work done, he promptly created a change order document so that all the costs were known upfront. He is great at problem solving difficult requests and listening to a client's needs. His solutions are often beautiful, as well as functional. His employees are certified so that you can trust the product you get is built to high standards. He comes out to supervise his employees to make sure the quality is the best it can be. They were constantly redoing small things on the paving or walls or even fence so that it was the best it could be. We were thrilled with the results and I don't think there is a company out there that can beat his quality of work or upfront and honest pricing. If there was a higher recommendation than A+, I would give it.

Jeff is a wonderful person to work with. You can count on his commitments of time and cost, and I like the staff he employs to perform the work. He is very knowledgeable, and I rely on his expertise to guide me in determining what I need to maintain my landscape. Now that I have built out my landscape, I do not need as much work done, but if and when I need further work, I will definitely call on Garner's Northwest Landscaping.

I got estimates from three other people, but they were the most detailed during the quote. During the work, they were very professional. They were very clean. There was no mess at all. They don't really negotiate. I tried to negotiate, but they wouldn't budge. But after they did the work, I don't mind that they don't, because I'm very happy with the work. I would definitely use them again in the future.

The entire job was done in two days. All debris was hauled away and they cleaned up everything before leaving. Everyone was professional and very pleasant. I would highly recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

My husband is unable to do yard work due to health issues. We hired Garner's NW Landscaping to do some early spring cleanup and tree/scrub pruning. I felt his prices were reasonable. They spent over five hours yesterday cleaning out flower beds and pruning trees and shrubs. I was blown away that they even cleaned out my hanging basket from last summer and other small containers. They even came back today to prune our tall cherry tree. They will be returning in March to put down new mulch. I am extremely pleased with the work that was done and look forward to having them keep our yard looking top notch! So glad we chose Garner's!

My front yard areas are all planting beds with no grass areas. I had a problem with moss and weeds in the Spring, and needed help in resolving the problem. Jeff's staff came in and removed all the weeds (originally I planned on keeping the moss), and made the garden really attractive. We then agreed on a monthly maintenance plan which they performed for the last six months, keeping my landscaping looking great. They also removed the moss on planting beds and walkways since it is not allowed by our association.
The staff was punctual, polite, hard working, and didn't seem to mind my directing their efforts to specific projects most weeks.
Jeff's folks also performed special projects, including weeding the backyard areas, spraying for weeds, and laying mulch, with great results, and has allowed me to maintain the areas with little effort.
I recommend this company as a quality provider of landscape services, and recommend you discuss your landscape problems with Jeff and come up with a plan for resolving the problems. He is great to work with!

It went okay. Often times it takes Jeff some time to get back with customers on various issues. He's a busy man and isn't always able to make it out to your house when he says he will. The lawn was mowed well or the most part However, I noticed after a couple of months of service that weeds I had never seen in my yard prior to this lawn service began growing (supposedly even after an anti-weed application had been applied). Sometimes when landscapers mow numerous lawns, I've heard that unless they clean off their equipment you can have lawn issues from other homes end up in your own lawn. Don't know if that was the situation here or not. Also, the lawn folks would not put back my hammock to it's place on the lawn after they would mow. I asked for weeding to be done a couple of times to my satisfaction but the last time was not up to standard at all. There were shrubs I had also asked to be pruned on the side of the house that were never cut back.
Garner's did a spring clean up for me which was completed to my satisfaction. I will, however, be looking for another contractor to help me with my yard moving forward.

"This is the first time we have ever responded to a clients feedback, but seeing how it is our first negative feedback and feedback we do not agree with we felt obligated to respond to it. It is our policy to respond to any emails or voicemails within 24 hours, unless someone is on vacation. In this case we did respond to her request, even revisited the site and did not charge her for part of the first clean-up. We did not hear from the client again until we only recieved partial payment sometime later and that is only because I contacted her. She told me that she held back part of the payment so that I would contact her and that she would send the rest of the payment shortly, but we still have not received full payment as promised. I understand that we make mistakes at times, but it is part of our service promise to fix any mistakes promptly. In this case I believe we did that. For this client we only provided 1 time services in the spring (pruning, clean-up and pressure washing) and a couple of maintenance visits while she was gone on vacation. Additionally, regarding the possibility of our equipment spreading weeds, our equipment is washed on a regular basis and our blades are changed an sharpened a couple of times each week. The crew will also clean the under sides of the mowers if any grass is under there so that we can assure our clients that weeds are not being spread from lawn to lawn. I am sorry that this client is not happy with our services, but I can assure others that this is not a reflection of our work. If you read other reviews of our work you will get a better reflection of our quality of work. Thank you, Jeff Garner"

Garner's NW Landscaping has been performing the maintenance on the yard for a few months now. They have been doing a good job and the renter's have been pleased.
