The product is good for the price. The quality of the pull-out shelving units is good, but the installation could have been better. I had to replace all the screws in the base with larger, more robust fasteners. The challenge we had started with a missed change-order that was not discovered until delivery. That delayed the project while replacement cabinets were manufactured. This created a domino effect with all the other trades and we lost over a month on the schedule.
We eventually worked out a solution, but not without escalating up the management chain and with great effort on our part.
Ask to see examples of each installer's work and quality to ensure you will be happy. it all boils down to the installer. They want all their money up front before delivery and I will not do that again. We had no leverage after we paid in full. Only agree to final payment once installation is 100% complete. The quality and workmanship of the cabinets is very good... we compared and researched many companies before selecting CCCC. Just keep solid email trail of all conversations.
We had no issues during the design or delivery process (our builder did the installation), and the medicine cabinets are SUPER FABOULOUS for the price. Couldn't find anything to compare and they are huge--2ft by 3ft, and extra deep (only work if you are doing a new build, as they require some special framing--too deep for most standard walls).
The only reason I would hesitate to use them again is price.
We discovered the Chinese cabinet manufactures in downtown Seattle only after we completed the project--like GS Building Supply and some others.
Their prices are AMAZING if you can accept something a little less custom. From our assessment, the quality is every bit as good as Canyon Creek. And my neighbor just raves about their installers.
And they have excellent prices on granite and quartz counters, if you can accept the thinner stuff and less selection. Would have saved us more than half and that would include the counters.
So think about your needs and choose accordingly. If custom is required, then Canyon Creek is a good option.
The new design has a "T" shaped office so I can sit at my desk and look out the windows. Storage is much better with cabinets designed for files and all the wiring for computer, monitor, speakers, etc. is hidden within the cabinets.
I chose Rustic Hickory with a medium brown stain and a chocolate glaze for this project on a door that has a rope molding embedded in the door. It looks wonderful.
The cabinets were made on time, the quality was great, and everything went together easily. I would highly recommend Canyon Creek to anyone looking for cabinets.
thought of, so it was a positive experience and we would use them again. The quality of the cabinets
is very good, the company/factory did a great job, and we had no problems with Canyon Creek.
"Hi Member, I am sorry I had become ill and could not complete your order. Of course me being ill put all of my work on Loren, I know that he was very busy. Shipping is available to the job sites, I am sorry that it was not explained to you that shipping is available to the job sites for a fee. I know that at times when we have to cover for others when ill, unfortunately some things can be overlooked and/or assumed. Glad you are happy with our product. Respectfully, Bob Novak"
