Marty kept us continually in the loop regarding scheduling our job, which given the weather and other constraints was quite a task.  He and his crew were punctual and put in two very long days to get the job done quickly while the weather held.  The final piece had to be put off for a couple of days to wait for a break in the weather, but Marty kept us in the loop regarding when he would be out to finish up.  Even though working with mortar and cement is inherently messy, the work area was clean and there are no spills on our brand new roof.  He even went so far as to put down carpeting and a ladder board to protect the gutter and roofing.
We've been through a record breaking rainfall since the job was completed and there are no signs of leakage anywhere around the chimney.  A very pleasant experience with a very good tradesman.

The weather was uncooperative so it took longer than expected, but Marty was great about staying in contact and the quality of the work is top notch. His worked dropped a brick that damaged our decrepit and rotten awning and Marty's response was to tell me immediately after he patched it and to offer to pay for the repairs it would need. I told him that the awning was rotten and that we needed to replace it anyways and not to worry, but he called a place and arranged to fix it at no cost to us. The chimney looks great and is now properly functional for the first time since we moved in. Top marks for integrity and workmanship.

He did a fabulous job at a reasonable price. Absolutely no complaints.

I wanted to also note that he gave us the estimate in 2009 but we weren't able to save the money to do the work until 2012. He honored his original estimate, which was something that we did not expect since most estimates expire after 30 days and it had been three years!

Reconstructed and repaired chimney to better than new.
Used sturdy scaffolding.
Work area was kept clean.
Cleaned up when job was complete.
Was conscientious and considerate.
Price paid was the same as the estimate.

I used them before I moved from my previous house. They did recapping and reflashing old chimney. The guy was very good. I would give him A all across the board. He came out and showed me my options. He pointed out the advantages and disadvantages to me. He also told about the various techniques and walked me through what he was going to do. He told me that he will not be able to do it for two more months until the weather cleared. He did the work when he was ready to do and he called me before that. He finished the work in two days. I recommend this guy to everybody I talk to.
