Amsberry's Painting

The Team at Amsberry's Painting did an excellent job for me. They painted my house last June. Since then I have received many compliments on the job they did. Ron, the project manager was wonderful as were the guys who did the painting. They were meticulous in their work and very courteous. The office staff was also great. Prior to hiring them, I spoke with Jeff the owner. He was very nice and took the time to talk to me about the process and details of the job. I really appreciate the excellent work, everyone's courtesy, and their ability to communicate and listen. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Quick to receive a bid. They are busy, so scheduling was a distance away. That was fine with us. When the time came, they were pretty much on schedule. Once started, they were professional and completed the job in a timely manner.  We were very happy with their service and price. High quality.

It didn't go well. They started painting last year but because they had miscommunication on there end the trim and some of the body didn't get done because winter hit. Next spring they came out to finish house and decks. They got most of the trim done and started on the back deck. I had to stop them as the coating was not correct. Up to this point dealing with the owner of this company was not good and to my surprise  it got worse. Do to the unprofessional attitude of this business owner I stopped the work and paid them for what they had completed. My wife and I finished the decks and touched up the areas that had been missed. If the business owner had been more professional  I would have had them finish the work but he left me no choice but to let them go.

The 2 painters who worked on our house did not waste any time while they were here.  They wanted to make sure their start time was convenient for us each day (even starting a little late one day when they found out a grandchild would be sleeping in a room on the side of the house they would be scrapping).   We were impressed with their worth ethic and with the quality of the paint job.  Each day all they left the yard, etc clean.  The last time our exterior was painted was 18 years ago and we honestly wondered if we could find a painting company that did the quality work a friend of ours had done at that time.  We would  recommend Amsberry without a doubt.  Hector and Juan (think I remember the names correctly) are awesome.  All our dealings with the company, from initial quote thru paying our bill, have been positive.

We got a quote the day we contacted them about the potential job.  The guy who came to do the walk through and get details was courteous and answered all our questions.  We got a quote within a day after the walk through and we were able to set up a date for the painting to be done with in 5 days of when we called to set it up. 
There were 2 painters, they showed up on time and were very efficient.  They covered everything, taped off trim, etc very well.  They were able to paint all areas, 2 coats by the end of the day (they arrived 9a and finished 5:30).  They were really nice, and even worked quietly while my son took his nap even though I told them not to worry about waking him with noise. 
We will definitely be using them when we are ready to paint our exterior in the next 2 years.  Great local company in Monroe!

Very prompt for bid and quick turnaround with the price. We were on the edge of bad weather since we waited until September, but they were great at tentative scheduling and we were fortunate to have perfect weather to keep on time. Great person (Bob) that came for the bid and great team for the prep work and the painting crew. We could not be happier.

Amsberry's provided an outstanding quality exterior paint job. Our craftsman home had a lot of extrusions and other intricate details and they did an impressive job cutting it all in perfectly. They did thorough prep work and 2 full coats of paint, each both sprayed and rolled. Their communication around scheduling was a nightmare but the quality of the work was worth the hassle.

The owner is very trustworthy. He said he was going to come and he was going to do it. The personal customer service was really nice. The communication was a little bit difficult but I think he was just busy. The communication was a bit difficult for him personally but for his crew maybe not but he made up for it. They were very fair with the good job they had to do.

The salesman came do nothing but watch the painters work during the two days of painting. I suppose that I t am also paying him for the two days. I did not like that. In addition, he also try to push the two painters to finish in two days and let one trim only covered one coating. he did not inform me about it. I have to tell the office to come back to finish the second coating. That was not a good ethic. They did a good jobs in painting.

Excellent job so far, very neat and careful

Very easy to work with. Professional, on-time, good clean-up. Did a fabulous job on prep so the paint will last a long time. We were very pleased.

I would highly recommend Amsberry's Painting. The job was well done and very professional. They did not collect money until the job was complete and we were satisfied. They came back to touch up a couple of spots that were missed with caulk...nothing serious and were very happy to come back. We can't say enough about the crew that did the work and the communication Amsberry's provided.

They left me with 5 gallons of paint, they didn't do two coats. They didn't paint my trim boards like they said they were going to. They said they were going to use a sprayer, they brused it on my interior wood. The owner never came in to check on the work or his employees, he came in and did the bid and I never saw him after that.

They paid a lot of attention to detail and after they finished the job we told them the things that we felt needed attention and they came back the next day and fixed everything to our satisfaction. Their price was a bit high but I felt we got our money's worth. I would use Amsberry's Painting Inc. again in the future.

I can tell you enough how much I have appreciated the excellent work performed by Jeff and his crew. Truly amazing. Not only did they do an exceptional job prepping my house, but found areas where the wood was rotting, gave me a contact to fix it, and then came back to paint the fixed areas the NEXT day. I fully recommend Amsberry Painting. This is a number I'm keeping in my phone.

Jeff and his company did extensive prep work on the house, paying very close attention to detail, they painted exterior and also painted the front porch and railings. Jeff was wonderful to work with and very understanding when I changed my mind on color. His crew was very respectful of our things as well as us, it isobvious they care about their jobs. They cleaned everything up really well. Jeff was here often checking on his employees and made sure everything went as planned. This was not the cheapest bid we received, however I believe we got superior service and it was worth the price for his expertise.

They did a good and very neat job. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

Getting the initial quote was easy and fast. Scheduling the work took a little back and forth over e-mail and telephone to get everything arranged, as did wrapping up the job. But overall the work was done well, the team very considerate, and we're happy with the results.

This work was done a couple of years ago, when I was trying to sell my house. It was a really difficult job, which we broke into two parts. The job started on-time (which seems to be unheard-of with most contractors); employees were extremely professional and courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. The first job went perfectly. With the second, we had an issue with part of the wall not matching the rest (two workers sanded, one did a better job than the other). After Jeff (owner of Amsberry Paint and Decor) came out to inspect the job, he realized this and had it re-painted right away. They certainly weren't the cheapest bid, but I wanted it done well, which it was. It was important to me that it be finished in a timely manner, as the house was going on the market. They completed it quickly and did a great job.
