Went very well. Would not hesitate to recommend. I know timely production was a challenge for them a while ago before they moved into a larger shop. That does not seem to be an issue any more.

Rod and Jared both listened to what I wanted, made suggestions and produced. On one project, a bathroom cabinet, I had a picture of what I wanted and they created exactly what I wanted in cherry! I loved it and again get so many complements. They really have an eye for detail and their ideas are priceless. When they built my fireplace they suggested lifting it up and building a hearth. It turned out so nice and I must say it's a showpiece for my family room and gave me more seating which I desperately needed.

Product was excellent, delivery was horrible. Lacking in communication skills.

I priced out many different companies prior to choosing Smith Custom Woodworking, including the larger "box" type stores. Though the box stores were seemingly less expensive, when I factored in delivery, installation, and wait time(s), they were really no better of a deal and of a much lesser quality finish. I found the overall value, professionalism, and KNOWLEDGE to be superb. Jared and Rod were very professional and more than helpful when it came to accommodating and facilitating any necessary changes that I needed for my newly purchased home. They were able to get everything produced, finished, and installed in the slated time frame, which was imperative in my case (due to family reasons). This is something I have had a ton of trouble with in the past - especially with other contractors in the greater Wenatchee area.. I would highly recommend Smith Woodworking for any and all home improvement needs before going to a box store or any other millwork facility. The prices are very reasonable for the level of services provided and when you call regarding your order - you don't get transferred to India for support. You get a knowledgeable professional who can direct you to a suitable solution. I am overall very happy with my experience, and I wanted to share this with Angie's List.
