contractor got backed up I took on some research and found Hunter Painting
Inc. I interviewed a half a dozen different firms before selecting Hunter Painting.
The owner demonstrated a solid understanding of the technical issues involved in
the materials selection and application of coatings as well as a great attitude
regarding customer service and addressing concerns about how we wanted the
job accomplished. When it comes to painting projects I can be a
little particular as I am a retired certified coating inspector who used to
work for several major oil and gas companies.
The crew was timely and efficient as well as
very professional in the manner of their application and attention to details.
Work was well coordinated and punch list items were completed in a timely
manner. The owner (Otis Hunter) took the
time to spray out the body of the house and provided clear directions to his
crew regarding specific details that needed to be addressed. Total time on site was about three full days
and a one hour call back for final touch up.
Excellent service and follow through and the job looks great.
There was a leak in the bathroom upstairs from an install of a new shower unit in the master bathroom. A pipe was cut, we called the company back who was doing the work. Each time they us it was fixed you can use it in 24 hours. Make a long story short, 18 months later I found Hunter Painting and they were great. They patched the ceiling, textured it to match the rest of the ceiling and painted it to match. The other contractor (sub to a big box company) could not do the job to match the texture and couldn't provide us with anyone who could. We were not happy at all with them. Hunter Painting eased our minds by doing the job the right way.
