I am very pleased to say there were no problems with the price and during the install. The whole crew was very easy to work with. I called for an estimate and had an employee come out to my house the next day, received an estimate and set up a day for install. The employees arrived on time and were professional. They did a great job of installing and cleaned up everything. They even installed my new toilet at no charge. Highly recommend these guys and I will be using them again when I need more work done.

Very well, they helped us pick out the right type of carpet, the perfect color, and it was installed quickly. This process can be very daunting, but they made it easy.

Sean did both tasks. WNY was referred to us by our realtor for a carpet seam repair at out church. He did an excellent job and donated his effort. We called him in to do our vinyl work. He was quick, responsive, accommodating and did a quality job in a timely manner that exceeded our expectations. We were very impressed by what he did and the process he used to do an outstanding job.

During the replacement process my family went on vacation and came home to perfectly done family room. I needed one adjustment as the carpet relaxed a bit and TWNY came out the very next day to make the adjustment at no charge. I would definitely use The Whole Nine Yards Flooring for all my needs!

The owner, Johnny, showed up to help with each aspect of the procedure. The crew were very nice and friendly - and really seemed to enjoy the work they were doing. Johnny also worked with my wife to help her decide on the type of carpet and padding to use, based on the type of traffic the area received on a daily basis. We were referred to WNY Flooring by a good friend of mine, and are VERY happy with the results.

The original kitchen vinyl had only been tacked with glue around the edges.  Six months after I moved into this home, my power chair caused the old vinyl to bubble up and crack.  In the entryway, a previous remodeling project had removed a wall, exposing the two tiles which needed to be fixed for visual esthetics, as that created two different colors/styles of ceramic tile.  Thus, it was necessary to remove all of the tile. 
The first day went extremely smooth, getting all of the carpet removed with new 8 pound pad (replacing the original 6 pound padding) and all new wall-to-wall carpet installed in just one day.   The crew leader (Riko) also removed the vinyl in the kitchen area and installed the new vinyl (correctly) by gluing the entire surface area. 
These men from THE WHOLE NINE YARDS really showed me how much they care about their customers.  Being unable to locate someplace nearby to rent a jackhammer, the crew went about the job, breaking up (chipping) the tile with a standard carpenter's hammer.  This was probably the only "snafu" these guys ran into and it took the better part of one day for two men to complete the task.  They did it without a single complaint, although several times apologizing to me for the noise and personal inconvenience. 
I especially appreciated this crew for paying particular attention to some of the finite details that many others probably would choose to ignore.  They took a lot of extra time (not included in the original contract-was not added to the bill neither), making certain I could easily cross the doorway thresholds with my power chair.  This ended up with them going to a local lumber yard and purchasing some sheets of 3/4 inch plywood to build up both the door to the garage as well as the front door and then securing them to the original concrete floor.

I couldn't be happier with the price, workmanship, punctuality, caring, professionalism, and knowledge --Everything-- that I received from "THE WHOLE NINE YARDS".  The price I paid included the extra materials needed and sales tax.  Oh, two other things, I feel needs to be mentioned.  Johnny refused to take a deposit and told me I didn't have to pay anything till the job was completed.  He also spent the last morning "CLEANING UP" as he put it.  Translated: Johnny dusted all my furniture and knick-knacks, he also made sure that my lamps were sitting just so and were plugged in and working.

The people that came to do the job were good. They were friendly and responsive. The quality of workmanship and materials were excellent.

I found Whole Nine Yards, Inc. by searching through companies with positive reviews on Angie's List. I originally called or e-mailed 5 or 6 companies and the staff from the Whole Nine Yards responded promptly to my request for a quote. Jeff came out to our house to take measurements and to get an idea of what the project entailed. It took a day or two to get a quote, but when we received the quote it was a very fair price for the amount of work requested. Although I felt like there were a few small miscommunications with them before the project started, they worked with us on scheduling the job on rather short notice (less than one week) in order to complete the installation to fit in with our schedule. On the day of the installation a one-man team showed up (I believe he was a sub-contractor for WNY, Inc.). We had some special instructions from the manufacturer of the flooring that we purchased regarding how to cut the edge of the wood in order to create a smooth transition with the adjacent carpet which was to be installed the following day. We passed this information onto the installer (Ivan) and he got right to work. It took most of the day for him to complete the job, but when he was done he cleaned up all the sawdust, wood scraps and trash from the project. The floors looked great and we were very impressed with his craftsmanship. The transitions were perfect and the measurements were so precise there was not a flaw or gap anywhere. I would definitely recommend the the Whole Nine Yards to our neighbors and friends and will keep their number on hand for next year when we complete the remaining remodeling projects in our home.
