I had a new roof done by North Creek Roofing and I found excellent customer service for all my interactions with the company. The people I spoke with included the following: Chris Cunningham (estimator) who took time with detailed answering of questions in-person and by email, had top-of-the-line follow up, maintained a positive attitude with numerous detailed questions (and returning in-person to show me the static vent they would be installing), and put together an excellent, easy-to-read proposal (the best proposal I received from several roofers); to John Frazier (Operations Manager) who chose the work team for the new roof and had excellent follow up with questions and resolving issues; Jose (headed up the work crew and worked on the roof); Sonny (follow up on bird spikes and roof inspection); Erica (billing); Diane (production); and Candy (administrative assistant).

The communication prior to the job was clear and they did the work on the dates we scheduled. The crew was organized and cleaned up at the end of each day, so there was minimal impact on us. The shingles and flashing look neatly done and I'm very satisfied with North Creek. I obtained three bids prior to selecting a contractor. They and one other firm had the low bids, and North Creek was much more professional and detailed in the description of their scope of work, which gave me confidence in selecting them

Back in December, we had a different Roofer come by the neighborhood offering free estimates. They found several leaks in our attic space and initially quoted us for 19k on a 3,000 sq foot home. I told them I wanted to get competing bids, and eventually lowered the estimate to 11k, but they wanted us to enter a contract immediately and use lower durability materials. That whole experience turned me off, so I looked for different contractors. Enter North Creek Roofing. I gave a call, and got a hold of Evan R. who came over for an estimate. Evan is great, you can tell he's a veteran. He didn't try to up sale us. We ended up going with North Creek Roofing because it was one of the most competitive bids, and they came recommended by my brother who went with them for a different job. Overall their performance exceeded expectations. They initially said construction would begin January 24th, but construction got pushed back a bit to the 27th, due to a spat of bad weather earlier in the month. They told us the job would take 2-3 days, and they finished in 2. We went with an onyx black shingle, and they even painted our vents to match the roof. Overall, we're very happy. TLDR -- North Creek Roofing has experienced, honest, roofers who want to do a good job, without squeezing you for every cent. You can always get a cheaper bid, but at a certain point you get what you pay for.

North Creek Roofing, “A Name You Can Trust.” That sums up our past 11-years’ experience as North Creek Roofing customers. We would highly recommend North Creek Roofing for roof repair and roofing projects. Dan McNeely, the owner, has integrity and treats his customers very respectfully and ethically, as did all the NCR employees during our recent roof replacement. NCR has installed two roofs on our house. The first roof installation was in January 2010, replacing the existing roof with a composition roof with a 30-year warranty. Sadly, that roof developed some leaking issues late in December 2020. We called NCR and a repair team was quickly sent to our home the same day. The roof leak was repaired, but the repair team also took some pictures of our roof back to the office. We were quickly contacted by John, the Production Manager. It seemed our particular composition shingles could possibly have some manufacturing defects. We were sent a warranty claim form to fill out, for a complete roof replacement. Some of our shingles were also removed for testing. We were soon involved in a warranty claim against the company which manufactured the shingles on our roof. NCR followed our warranty claim from start to finish. This relieved us of the stress of filing a warranty claim against the manufacturer ourselves. In the end, we were presented with a fair warranty claim settlement. The NCR roofing crew did a fantastic job installing a new roof last month. The project went smoothly from start to finish .The old roof was completely replaced, including the plywood sheeting and venting system. The roofing crew worked as an efficient team to quickly remove and replace the roof. They were very polite, professional, and thoroughly cleaned up around the work-site each day. The new roof looks fantastic. We have every confidence that this roof will dependably protect our home from rain, snow, ice, and wind for many years to come.

Very easy to coordinate estimate and to schedule work in a timely manner. Workers showed up on time, were pleasant to work with and very competent. They kept me updated on progress and briefed me on the work completed. Outstanding job and they did a very good job of cleanup.

We got three bids for roofing and I chose North Creek mainly based on the presentation by Josh. The communication was excellent; we were told what to expect and when it would happen, and we were very pleased with the work done, from start to finish. The project was started and completed on time, except for the gutter installation, which had to be delayed a couple of days due to torrential rain. Chris came out to assess the work and was quick to respond to a couple of issues that came up (nothing serious, just needed a couple of downspouts repositioned). The new eave on our house looks fantastic and the roof is beautiful. I would definitely recommend this company. They are prompt, professional, and reliable.

Replaced quickly

We have been very impressed with North Creek Roofing. The estimate and package provided by Josh was very thorough. Josh showed up at the appointed time and even responded to an email on a Sunday night. He responded with an estimate within 24 hours - much faster than others. The estimate was not the lowest but their professionalism gave us a measure of security and the confidence that this was the business we wanted to deal with. Josh provided a package which included a shingle brochure for the shingle type we selected, a reference list showing other homes in the area that we could view, instructions on how to choose your roofing contractor, why to hire them, how to compare roof estimates, their certificate of liability insurance, and their terms and conditions. What did we get from other companies? Nothing. The crew kept us updated throughout the process. Gutter cleaning was included. This is a very professional company from start to finish.

These guys were great. They kept me completely in the loop on what was going on, from scheduling to follow-up after the job. Everyone was also pretty friendly and professional, both the front office people and the roofing crew. Their pricing was in the mid-range of the bids I got, and I was happy with the outcome. I would hire them again, though I don't expect to need this done again for another 30-40 years. :-)

The project went well. They stuck to their schedule and keep me informed every step of the way. I requested bids from four different roofing companies. After I received the bids I submitted questions to each company. Evan from North Creek was the only one to answer my questions in details. Because I also needed new gutters, I had a subcontractor through North Creek install them. I was not overly satisfied with the subcontractor's work. Next time, I would hire my own gutter company.

After striking out at two other companies who apparently thought that repairing my skylights deteriorated insulation was too small a job to waste their time on I, thru Angie’s List, hit on North Creek Roofing and they had Chris at my home the next day to evaluate the problem. He was back (again the next day) with two additional workers and knocked out the repair in about a half hour and at a charge that was about half of what I thought it would be. Obviously after my prior service disappointments it was refreshing to find a company as responsive and service oriented as North Creek Roofing.

We had a heavy downpour in our area (Clearview) about a month ago and observed internal evidence of a small leak which we suspected was coming from a Roof Vent. North Creek Roofing came out, looked over our whole roof (asphalt shingle, low slope) and agreed with our assessment. We had a bid the same day, and two days later we had a 2-man crew on the job. They replaced the roof vent quickly and also took the time to seal other nails that they though might be problematic. The roof got a thorough look. They spent about an hour on the job site. They also took the time to blow off some leaves that had accumulated.

North Creek Roofing was totally professional, every step of the job. Always on time, they actually finished sooner than their estimate. I had a weird, outdated, extraneous electrical pipe on my roof, which they carefully removed after asking my permission. We've had some warm days since the installation, and the ventilation system they installed has already made for a cooler house. The craftsmanship looks really good from my point of view. The cleanup was very good. The roof leaked during a storm about two weeks before the installation, and the job manager came to my house and put on a temporary tarp to prevent further damage. Amazing customer service!

North Creek had many positive reviews on Angie's List, Yelp, and CertainTeed (North Creek roofers complete training and certification by CertainTeed). Courteous and hard-working crew with frequent on-site visits by managers and supervisors. The sales consultant was one of the most knowledgeable of the six roofing companies I interviewed. Very good cleanup every evening and at the end of the job. The job was finished on time. I appreciated the good communications. Highly recommended.

It took a little back and forth to get hold of someone but once we connected directly on the phone they got the job scheduled surprisingly quickly. Someone came out and looked it over, recommending replacing 3 vents in the area not 2. I thought he would do it the work that first day but needed parts so was back later the same week and I did not need to be there for the second visit. The repair went off without a hitch and was close to the estimated cost, looks like quality workmanship and no more leaks. Would definitely hire again.

This was my second roof repair with them, and first new roof estimate. Excellent, honest service. Will have them replace roof in 2-4 years.

Went over their products in detail and explained about warranties. Gave me addresses of houses that had the different shingles we were considering so we could see an actual complete roof instead of just looking at a shingle and trying to guess what it would look like. They did the work on time and on cost. Answered all my questions and addressed all of my issues (I didn't feel the original 20 year old flashing on the house was sufficient). They took care to put down boards to protect my driveway from the dumpster. The dumpster was removed after the work very quickly. They sent a guy by after everything was done to review the work and to use a strong magnetic device to assure no nails, etc were left on the driveway and walkways. All in all very good job.

I wanted to replace my 37 yr old cement tile roof with something a lot more appropriate for this area. I got 4 estimates and while North Creek was not the cheapest, it was $4,000 and $8,000 less than 2 of the other bids. The estimator I worked with, Evan, was very knowledgeable about all of the aspects of replacing an old tile roof with new shingles. He told me they would be able to trim down the old fascia rather than replacing it and the existing rain gutters would work fine (1 estimate said the gutters would have to be replaced and 1 said all of the fascia and the gutters would have to be replaced). He also accurately addressed the need for additional intake ventilation to match the new ridge vent that would be installed (almost 1000 additional square inches was needed - 1 company proposed adding 300 while another was not going to add any). Without adequate ventilation moisture can build up in the attic which leads to mold. The project was very well organized and professional from start to finish. The job began on time. The delivery and removal of the giant skips to haul away the old tile and construction debris proceeded like clockwork. The plywood and the new shingles were delivered and ready to go when the crew needed them. The city inspection permit was on-site at the start and the inspector showed up on the last day to sign off on it. The actual roofing crew was amazing. They worked practically non-stop for 2 very long days. Two hours of cleanup on the third day and the job was finished. Jacinto (?) came out the next day to pick up excess materials and do a final inspection of the roof. He also brought black paint to touch up a piece of flashing which was distracting because it was silver. The work was exceptional and I would recommend this company to anyone.
