Better Build

Rob and his team came to our rescue after a tree fell on our roof and punctured several holes. They promptly came out, cut the tree off the roof, and placed metal patches until permanent repairs could be done. Rob was extremely professional and followed up to make sure we got the tree debris hauled away.

Rob was one of the best roofers I worked with when it was time to repair my roof (a few years ago), and when it was time to inspect after a nasty storm that blew some shingles off. His team was very quick to respond, within 24 hours they were on the roof and Rob explained in detail how to go about fixing or re-roofing. The next week was supposed to Rain (and it indeed rained), without even calling Rob about the next steps, his team was already at home with the tarps. Holy moly! Though I hired another roofer for budget reasons, Rob all the way guided me ensuring I get the best for my project. Love these folks!

Rob is a superb, diligent, conscientious and attentive contractor. He is the best I've ever worked with. He is also a wonderful person who cares about others and has integrity and is dedicated to his craft and his clients. I think the world of him and would highly recommend him for any job!

I have worked with Rob as a general contractor on 3 projects now. He's replaced 2 roofs (different houses) for me, done remodel work, and built a deck for me. Communicating with Better Build was difficult.

I asked for a roofer to repair leaking roof and Rob called right away. Rob came over and inspected our roof and glued spots where the problem might be. He didn't charge anything for doing it and we'll hire him in the future when needed.

Rob and Abby were up front about everything and were great. They were not pushy and got the job done quickly. If you ask they will answer every question as they want you to make an educated decision. I would recommend them to anyone for a roof replacement.

I contacted Rob in December 2018 for a minor roof repair. He gave me an estimate in January. After multiple efforts to schedule this job via text message and email lasting over a month, with either no response or messages promising to get back to me, I decided to move on and get bids from other roofers. Two months later, Rob sent someone to my house to do the job, unknown to me. I ubered home to confront the guy after I saw someone climbing onto my roof via a doorbell camera. The job was completed, supposedly, however, the worker left shingles all over my back deck. Rob emailed me an invoice a week and a half later with the audacity to also refer him to my friends and neighbors. I emailed back the next day detailing my displeasure and that I would not be paying the whole bill. I again received no response, until ~2 months later when he called asking me to pay the invoice. He denied ever receiving any contact from me besides my initial contact, except, however, he does remember getting my acceptance of his bid. Shame on me for not outright canceling my initial acceptance of his bid. I will be filing complaints with appropriate audiences including the better business bureau and Secretary of State business licensing office.

Showed up early and had imy repair done within 3 hours. Cleaned up all pieces of the old roofing and hauled it away. Pricing was excellent!

We hire Rob at Better Build to install gutters on our newly renovated house. The price seemed comparable to the other bids and his team was able to get started right away. Our house is two stories so we could not check to see that all the gutters drained toward the downspouts. Our siding contractor made note that at least one gutter...maybe two was pitched the wrong way. We gave Better Build several opportunities to correct the issues. On all occasions, Better Build assured us that the gutters were installed correctly. After the most recent heavy rains, we were able assess the situation....ALL (7) gutters slope away from the downspouts. We had all our gutters filling with water and overflowing down the side of the house. We had another contractor come out and take photos and measurements; we are now removing all the gutters, plus two levels of shingles because not only is the slope wrong, they used the wrong fasteners.

This was a great experience. The crew worked quickly and vleaned up well. There was one mimor issue after completion ehich was corrected immediately after they were notified. I would recommend them to anyone.
