I'm not sure if this is the same business as the one I used. The name is the same, and I believe they are based on Mercer Island but the prior review seems awful and was not my experience, so I'm not sure if the owners changed or what.
I bought a coupon on Living Social and then forgot about it for a while. When I ended up needing them at first I sent an email to their Hotmail address that went unanswered. So then I called and got a quick response. The B for responsiveness is just for the lack of email response. They came out a few days later - the coupon had expired for the promotional value but they honored the face value (as expected).
The owner was super friendly and helpful. He came out on his own first to evaluate how much stuff I had, what would be required, and gave me a quote. He then also broke down the cabinet himself and said he would return with his partner to haul everything away.
They returned on time and took out everything I pointed out quickly and professionally. He kept asking me if there was anything else I wanted taken out since people always forget stuff, but I said no. Then, true to his word, I realized I had a bunch more stuff I wanted to get rid of - he came out again on short notice and I had the same experience. At all times he was friendly, appreciative, professional, and efficient.
Since I gave him business twice, he said if I later discovered a couple of small things he'd come out and pick them up at no charge. And, of course, I did find 2 items, and he did show up and took them out gratis.
I'd definitely recommend this company (assuming it's the same one).
DO NOT hire We Take Junk from Mercer Island!!!
We are selling my parent's home & needed many final items removed.
This company left my unoccupied parent's home at risk for several day before we returned by leaving the front security screen door wide open and the front door opened with just a little push on the door as well as the back screen door unlocked!! Horribly careless!
This company ended up charging us almost 3 times the quoted amount. The owner is a terrible estimator. Big talk but does not deliver the service. He did some trash talk about other junk haulers.
They also gave excuses for missing our appointment because of a truck breakdown. View other negative reviews on Yelp.com.
Totally unreliable, over-priced, unethical and careless. BEWARE!!
