We hired Six Walls to help us with a whole house remodel. Dawn and her team transformed our 1960s home into a modern masterpiece. They were able to coordinate all of the materials and surfaces beautifully to create our dream home. Everyone involved in our project was very responsive, detailed, and easy to work with. We loved Six Walls and would not hesitate to hire them again!

They offer a number of different services. They are excellent, but they are too expensive. The owner is very personable, easy to talk to, and easy to work with. In terms of trying to understand my needs, she was good at listening. She is efficient. The price point is expensive.

Dawn and her team met with my clients after I'd recommended them to her. My clients have a lovely home, but it was in dire need of updating and staging in order to sell in today's high inventory real estate market. My clients followed my advice, hired Dawn, and followed every request she and I made. Dawn chose a color palette that unified the fireplace and carpet, and that made the entire home look updated and chic. We've been on the market now 4 days. We've had 14 showings and everyone is raving about what a gorgeous home it is! You can see all the photos at www.johnlscott.com/92923 now. Once it sells, which won't be long, the site will close down. A sign that Dawn and her team really did do their job!

The projects we've worked on with Six Walls have turned out better then expected. What has really helped is they provided me with visual drawings every step of the way which enabled me to see how my room(s) would look prior to painting and purchasing materials. They also left me try lamps, wall art and area rugs to ensure these items were to my satisfaction and met the critera of the design.

They were very helpful. The most valuable thing they said to me was "No" (ex. those things don't go together). They were able to source furniture for me, I wasn't searching based on price, but the prices ended up being very good. I have referred many people to them.

I have given her name to several people because she did a splendid job. They all wanted her name to have work done at their homes. It was well received. They recommended the paint company and we were very happy with the visual effect and the lack of toxins in the paint.

They are one of the best, we really like them. They go the extra mile and follow up with you. My wife just had surgery and they sent her a get well soon card. They are superior. I have worked with other people and they are on the top. If something is not right they will make it right without complaining.

This is probably one of my worst experiences as a homeowner. I went to Six Walls to hire an interior designer. They send out a lovely young girl, who when we started chatting informed me she was a student at Bellevue Community College and has at least a year left in her studies, she also was not studying interior design but industrial design. She came uniformed that what I wanted was a consultation to help me chose materials for a bathroom and send me a price quote that it would cost me $5000 dollars at $135 an hour for her to help me chose materials for my SMALL maybe 8x9 or 10 foot bathroom. I found it really amazing that for $135 an hour they would send out an intern not a professional designer. And then inform me that to continue working with this student it would cost me $5000 dollars. I called the manager to complain and wrote her an email. She apologized but was reluctant to discuss anything further. If I pay professional rates I expect a professional.

"THE DESIGNER ASSIGNED TO THIS INITIAL DESIGN CONSULT WAS AN INTERN AT THE TIME SHE MET WITH THE CLIENT. UNFORTUNATELY, ANOTHER MEMBER OF OUR DESIGN STAFF (NO LONGER WITH THE COMPANY) ERRONEOUSLY ASSIGNED AN INTERN TO THIS PROJECT, THINKING IT WAS AN INTERIOR COLOR CONSULT—NOT A BATHROOM REMODEL CONSULTATION, THEREFORE NOT COMMUNICATING PROPERLY WITH THE INTERN PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT, THUS THE UNPREPARED NATURE OF HER VISIT. SINCE THE DATE OF THIS CLIENT MEETING, THE OWNER OF SIX WALLS IS NOW THE MAIN PERSON WHO REVIEWS ALL CLIENT REQUESTS, AND ASSIGNS THE APPROPRIATE STAFF MEMBER ACCORDINGLY. THE INTERN HAD BEEN TRAINED, UNDER SUPERVISION OF SENIOR DESIGNERS TO PERFORM SUCH TASKS, AND STILL IS EMPLOYED BY SIX WALLS AS A GRADUATE OF F.I.D.E.R ACCREDITED INTERIOR DESIGN PROGRAM, NOT AN 'INDUSTRIAL' DEGREE AS MENTIONED BY THE CLIENT. SHE IS WORKING AS A LEAD DESIGNER IN THE COMPANY AND HAS PREFORMED NUMEROUS DESIGN CONSULTS, AS WELL AS KITCHEN & BATH REMODEL PLANS FOR MANY HAPPY & SATISFIED CLIENTS. OUR DESIGN AGREEMENT FOR THE DESIGN ASSISTANCE FOR THE 8X10 BATHROOM WAS QUOTED AS “SIX WALLS DESIGN TEAM” AND THE CLIENT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN WORKING ONLY WITH THE INTERN ON THAT PROJECT. WE ARE SORRY THAT THIS WAS NOT MADE CLEAR TO THE CLIENT, AS SIX WALLS DESIGN STAFF WORK TOGETHER IN A TEAM FORMAT TO CREATE A SUCCESSFUL PROJECT FOR EACH AND EVERY CLIENT. FURTHERMORE, THE DESIGN AGREEMENT ALSO STATED BETWEEN 25-35 HOURS OF DESIGN TIME AT A RATE OF $135, THIS CALCULATES TO $3375-4725, NOT THE $5,000 THAT IS STATED IN THE REPORT BY THE CLIENT. OUR DESIGN AGREEMENTS TYPICALLY STATE A BLOCK OF HOURS, NOT A FLAT FEE. THE OWNER OF SIX WALLS DID SPEAK TO THE CLIENT, AND RECALLS AN OFFER TO REFUND THE CLIENT’S MONEY FOR THE CONSULT, OR TO SEND OUT ANOTHER DESIGNER, WHICH THE CLIENT REJECTED AT THE TIME OF OFFER. THE EVENTS SURROUNDING THIS REPORT ARE UNFORTUNATE, AND WE BELIEVE THAT SIX WALLS HAS PUT APPROPRIATE MEASURES IN PLACE TO INSURE THAT THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE MISUNDERSTANDING, AND HOPE, SHOULD THE CLIENT HAVE OTHER DESIGN RELATED NEEDS IN THE FUTURE, THAT THEY MIGHT BE WILLING TO GIVE US A SECOND CHANCE, AS WE ARE NOT RUNNING ANY TYPE OF SCAM."
