Hubert Landscape

Nice people, but this year they failed to timely file the report.  I had to hire someone else (interesting at half the cost), and was in jeopardy of having to pay a $100 fine to the city.  This year, the city made the reports due one month earlier, but it was still Hubert's job to know that change.

Also, it is usually only mildly irritating that Hubert is impossible to reach by phone, but this year because of the circumstances, it was very irritating.  Usually Hubert's voice mailbox is "full" (it's been that way for years), and even when I leave a message, no one returns my call.  They have no email.  PO Box is their only communication.

.I used Hubert landscape and they had very good ideas about what plants to put in and the work turned out beautiful. Their quality was outstanding.

Back flow test was promptly and properly done for a reasonable price so I would recommend the company for this service alone. However, I asked them to check over the sprinkler system and make any needed repairs, pointing out in some problems that I had noticed. Although they properly repaired the items I pointed out to them, there was no overall inspection or correction of the system. They left heads obscured by vegetation, heads which came out of the ground crooked or which were not set properly and so did not water the intended area, needed heads were turned off and heads left on to water areas without thirsty landscape. Also, the timer was set in a very odd fashion. The overall result was under-watered and dying areas of lawn and landscape. I have been making adjustments myself to remedy the situation as I don't trust the level of care of the crew sent to our property. I would point out, however, that the owner of the company was prompt and professional- the crew simply did not meet my expectations.
