I was very happy with the service I got from Dundee Concrete.  Each step of the 
way they were efficient, punctual and courteous.  The final product was nice looking, 
it was level and there was no mess left behind.  I would not hesitate to recommend this company
for concrete work.

I used Dundee for some projects at my home and they did a great job. Last week I had them install sprinklers at my rental property. While they were putting the controller in the garage they unplugged my tenants freezer so they could plug a light in to see. When they left they forgot to plug the freezer back in and my tenant lost most of the food in the freezer. She called them to complain and they sent someone right over, took responsibility for the mistake and reimbursed her for all the lost food plus some. Mistakes happen but they did not hesitate to make it right. I told them right then and there that I would be their customer for good. Plus the sprinklers work great! Can't wait to see the beautiful lawn they are going to put in next. Thanks Dundee. You guys ROCK!!!

The crew from Dundee did a fantastic job.  They showed up when scheduled and work steadily.  The crew members were courteous.  Work was completed in 3 days.  They cleaned my property nicely when the job was finished. 
Dundee tore out the sidewalk section, the garage floor (asphalt over broken concrete) and the driveway.  They coordinated with the City inspector to ensure that the roots of the London Plane trees (located on City property between the sidewalk and street) were not damaged.  Dundee also worked with Paul Heindl, Certified Arborist,  to help remove the huge stump of a dying silver maple that had badly damage the sidewalk and whose roots had grown toward the house and were exposed above grass level.
The new sidewalk was installed and sealed, and approved by the City inspector.  The garage floor was installed and sealed.  The driveway and expanded walk by side door was installed in a pattern where each section of concrete was brush-finished at 90 degrees from the one next to it, leaving a nice checkerboard pattern.  It, too, was sealed. 
I have received many nice compliments from the neighbors about the great work that Dundee did.
I will be using Dundee next year to tear out the front walk and replace it and install a new small patio by the front door.
I am very happy with the quality of the Dundee crew's work.

When I was ready 5 months after estimate given they were prompt and professional and did not raise estimate

It was a disaster. Every time I look at the concrete work that was performed I am disgusted which is nearly daily. I cannot believe that we paid so many thousands of dollars for such poor quality work and the wrong material. Our patio was damaged in the process as well. We never saw the owner again after we committed to hiring him just different crews showing up for a couple hours here and there, usually a week after they were due. I would never use Dundee again.

I contacted Dundee Concrete and Landscaping to get a quote on residential sidewalks.  They were very responsive to the request for a quote.  The original quote was 45% higher than my lowest received quote.  When I questioned the cost, I received an emotional email on the expenses involved with running a business.  When I replied stating that I wasn't questioning anything but the cost (which by the way was based on 21' more feet of sidewalk than was in the job) I received an apology for the previous email.  However, his quote was still 28% higher than my lowest quote.  I have no doubt that they can do the job, but if the final quote I received was an indicator of what they charge for their work, then I would recommend getting several quotes before having them perform any work.

I have always been pleased by the work Dundee has done for me. They have gone above and beyond by meeting me in whatever area of Spokane I needed them and have made a point to be on time and stay within budget. I have found Chris, Steve and all of their employees to be professional and courteous. I do not hesitate in recommending Dundee for any sort of excavation or landscape work.

UPDATE:  Although I do still recommend Dundee as a second choice, Chris is no longer with this company and is now with The Rock Whisperer.
