My 14 year old cat had a seizure so I called VCA to tell them I was coming asap, and when I arrived they were standing by to whisk him to an exam room. Luckily, in the 10 mins it took to get him in the car and drive excessively fast to get there he had recovered so it wasn't an emergency anymore. The vet examined him and suspected there was an underlying heart condition, so they checked his blood pressure, and blood work, both of which were ok. She noticed that his urine showed early stage renal failure, which is common in older cats, and she told me switch him to prescription food for that condition.Since he wasn't showing any further ill effects from the seizure, I was able to take him home with me.
I really appreciated that they looked at him so quickly after I arrived and I will be using them in the future. And as an added bonus, not only does your pet receive really good care but VCA also charges less than the other vet clinics in the area.

My nearly 8-year-old cat, Boo, had woken me up one night with a meow like a cry for help and then threw up twice beside our bed. Scared me to a full awake position and, as we are new to this area, I got online immediately to get a vet hospital and found VCA on Angie's List. I called VCA as soon as they opened and they got me an appointment for early that afternoon. I took him in and the vet was very thorough and ordered blood tests, etc. to figure out what was wrong with Boo. The blood and urine, etc. test results came in the next morning. Turns out Boo had a UTI. If I had let that go, it could have been a horrible situation for Boo and for us. We lost one cat to a bladder blockage and I was so glad the vet detected the UTI so quickly so that he could be treated and is now fine! The equipment and access they have to treat pets is really top-notch.

I won't go anywhere else!

They're a little pricey but they do good work. They do take care of the animals here. She is very thorough in doing everything and she is very concerned about the animals. It is very good. They're thorough when they do the examinations and she loves cats. Her demeanor is also very nice. I think the pricing is a little high.

MY DOG WAS TREATED FOR ARTHRITIS AND EXCESSIVE WEIGHT. THEY PRESCRIBED MEDICATION AND TREATMENT FOR BOTH. THEY ARE EXCELLENT WITH ANIMALS. THEY ARE VERY QUICK AND COURTEOUS.

THIS IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO TAKE YOUR PETS. WE LOST OUR FIRST CHOCOLATE LAB AT THE AGE OF 10 BY A CAR. WE IMMEDIATELY TOOK HIM TO THIS VET. HE HAD ALREADY PASSED AWAY, BUT THE CARE WE RECEIVED AND THE CARE THAT OUR DOG RECEIVED TO BE TAKEN HOME TO BURY WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND THEIR OBLIGATION (NO CHARGE).
