Heritage Propane - Marysville

My family and I have leased our propane tanks and regulator from Northern Energy / Heritage Propane in Marysville WA for the past two years, so we must purchase our propane from them. Our tanks were getting low recently, so I called to have them filled. I was told a delivery driver would make the delivery within 7 to 10 business days. In the past, a driver was usually here within 5 to 7 business days. This time it was the full 10 days (13 calendar days from when I called). When I called to see why the delay (our tanks were starting to get really low), I was told one driver was out sick, and another was injured. I understand, things happen. After the delivery was made on the 10th business day, I saw the price on the delivery ticket was much higher than I expected. When I received the bill in the mail this week, I was shocked. I did a comparison online and spoke with my neighbors, who also have propane delivered to leased tanks, and we are being charged nearly double the price per gallon for a similar quantity delivered to leased equipment. One local company quoted me their price per gallon delivered to equipment leased from them, and confirmed we are paying $2.03 per gallon more than they charge their existing customers. The last few deliveries from Northern / Heritage, I noticed the price per gallon seemed higher, but I figured it was just because we were leasing the equipment., but now I feel like we're being taken to the cleaners. We pay our bills on time, so we feel we are not being treated well. We are now shopping to buy our own tanks and regulator and drop our business with Northern Energy / Heritage Propane.

They are pretty good. They were very helpful; I actually ended up underground the propane lines from the house to the new tank location. Their helpful and gave us live analogy and it was quite good.
