I HIGHLY recommend Cougar Tree Service. Dan and his wife Kenda were wonderful to work with. Extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. They returned our calls, right away, kept us up-to-date on how the whole job was going, and were extremely prompt. I could have set my watch, by their activity. I was so impressed by their promptness, and safety procedures! We had some very difficult trees to remove and they handled it with total professionalism. Everything was left clean and tidy.. You can't go wrong, using them for your next job.

This review is LONG overdue. In March 2012, our family lake cabin had four Alder trees that were dying and in desperate need of removal. Three of the trees were hanging over the water and located on ground that was sloped and spongy (wet). We obtained three tree removal estimates: two companies that only used large bucket trucks and could not give us a definite start date because of the wet conditions; and Dan Lievense of Cougar Tree Service, who still climbs and could start right away. Of the three, we found Dan to be incredibly knowledgable, friendly, and patient as he explained how each tree would be removed. Dan also informed us that he would be using a special bio-degradable bar oil that would not harm the lake. Needless to say, we hired Dan. Each day he and his crew arrived early and ready to go. They all worked very hard and completed the work on time. We have more trees on our property that will need removal in the future and Dan will be our first and only call. We highly recommend Dan and Cougar Tree Service!
