Clear Pest Management

At first we had a very good experience and were happy with the service. He was very responsive and his treatments seemed effective. He also seemed a trustworthy and genuine individual. However, in late December we found a dead rat in our unfinished basement. We attempted to contact the company for 10 days. Numerous phone calls and emails with no response. To be honest, I was a little worried that something bad might have happened as it seemed out of character for him to be so unresponsive. Out of desperation we contacted another company who came out and resolved the issues. Then, without receiving any contact from him, we get a charge receipt for our bi-monthly service. At this point I realized that I could send a message to Clear Pest via Facebook. I did this and got a response in two hours. We were told that the system he uses for his business phone calls and emails had flagged us as spam and he had never gotten our voicemails or email. I was rather boggled by this as we called from three different numbers and left messages. Every number was flagged as spam? And our email addresses too? I'd never had any response when contacting them via email over the 6 months we had their service and I'm not sure they even check it. I was very upset. It was a very stressful situation to not know if you have rats in your home during a busy and stressful time of the year. I cancelled our service via Facebook message. Two months later I am notified via email receipt that Clear Pest has serviced our home. Again, we had cancelled (and the message was viewed) 2 months prior. My husband called and left a message. We have not gotten a return call. I then left another Facebook message and there has been no response, nor has it been read. We are disputing the charges. Their actual work seems perfectly good, but apparently there is a lot of mishandling of whatever business software they are using or just plain old poor communication. I cannot recommend this company for this reason..
