Hardware & Home Improvement Stores
Carr's is a hometown 'neighborhood' hardware store. Compared to the behemoth big box stores it is minuscule. But they always seem to have what *I* need, and isn't that all that really matters? Carr's may not have 50 million kinds of pipe fittings, but who cares? If they have the one I need, that's all that matters. And you don't have to go hunting for help; they are always cheerful and happy to help you find exactly what you need right away. It's called "SERVICE" - they provide assistance, information and good advice - and those are in woefully short supply at the monster stores. Their prices may not be dirt cheap, but they are absolutely reasonable - and if I have to spend just a couple more pennies for an item, I am fine with it. God bless them!
