MILLWORK OUTLET

I had specific wishes for 12 foot sliders in off-white.  So big, specialty windows.  They found what I needed/wanted.  They are on order, and Millwork will store them until I need them - sometime this spring.
But I have been shopping at Millwork for all kinds of specialty items.  I found a mantle piece that is gorgeous wormwood.  They have used brick that was salvaged from a street in Seattle, all marked with historical info.  They have gorgeous front doors and stained glass side lights, which I have my eye on a couple.  Now they are selling some very high end wood slab tables with very industrial designer table legs/supports. Just gorgeous!  In the back of the property they have other buildings where they do custom cabinetry, have several salvaged items like wooden floors from old buildings, etc.  
The key is to get the owner, Dan, to spend some time with you.  He knows what hidden gems he has in inventory, he has a wealth of construction background, and he is an artist - I mean, really, he has a degree in art.  So if you are hoping to find or build something really outstanding and one-of-a-kind, he is your guy, and Millwork is your place.  Some of those tree houses you see advertised with another builder - Dan was involved with.  If you have a showcase piece you want to use in something he can help you figure out how.  
So this place is all about shopping for interesting things, generating great ideas with experts who can figure out how to really do it.  It is just a treasure chest of architectural elements items you can incorporate in your next project, remodel etc.  Oh, and they can get you plain old windows and doors too - and you'll know a lot more about how to install it, etc., than you'll ever learn at Home Depot, Lowes, Johnson's etc.  I love this place!
