 + 0 moreAre they still in business??? Beginning 5/13/16 I contacted them via email, phone, and Angie's List with multiple attempts each. As of 6/9/16 I have yet to receive any response. I thought they may be interested since their business location is near my residence. Very poor communication and responsiveness.
Description of Work: Couldn't get a response from the provider to do any work...

 + 0 moreOverall, I was very happy with the service provided. Arnie was a bit difficult to get in touch with at times and actually did miss our first appointment for the original quote. He was very apologetic and did call back to make a second appointment, which he did come to at the designated time. Once the bid was approved, his crew was very punctual and performed the work exactly as promised. The price never fluctuated, and the work was completed in three days approximately two weeks from the original bid approval. I did request an additional bid from Arnie after the work was completed, which we never did receive. The only reason I was not able to give them an A rating is simply due to the occasional inattentiveness of my contact person with the company. The work itself is phenomenal, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to do some major landscaping work.
Description of Work: We had our small backyard completely overhauled. Arnie came out and gave us a free quote and a landscape map that showed exactly what we could expect, along with the price. We had some existing shrubs, trees, and grass that was removed. Some of the existing Rhododendrons were relocated to other spots in the yard. The grass was removed and the resulting sod was turned over and used as a base to create some landscaping mounds to add visual interest to the yard. Flagstone pavers were added from our back patio all the way to the front walkway leading to our front door. Gravel was laid along one side of the house, replacing a weed-infested walkway that had existed. The pavers that were removed and replace with gravel were moved to the other side of the house to create a storage area for our garbage cans and outdoor equipment. A planting bed was created with railroad ties, creating a small garden, which is now growing a bunch of vegetables for us to enjoy this fall. They brought in 25 cubic yards of topsoil to replace the lawn and to secure the pavers and planted an landscape of really nice native vegetation, including grasses, small shrubs, and various cedar trees. The resulting landscape is serene and park-like. The trees were placed in such a way as to gain a bit of privacy from the neighbors behind us. The work was completed by two men in three days. They showed up at 8a each day and left around 5p, very punctual, very professional. The result matches the promised landscape map perfectly and the price was exactly what was quoted. Overall, very happy with the service.

 + 1 moreThree guys, 2 weeks, and it was all done quietly when we were at work and even with the dog in the back yard. They fixed any of the lawn that they damaged, were on time, and within 2% of the original estimate. They could not get heavy machinery thru the side gates so I was amazed how hard they worked. 30 yards of soil, 15 ton of 1/2 man rocks, and several yards of other materials all via wheel barrow. These guys are hard workers and the finished work is spectacular.
Description of Work: They built by HAND a 60 foot long by 3 foot tall rock wall in our back yard, backfilled by HAND with 30 yards of soil, moved some maple trees, carved out a nice play area and filled with pea gravel, and created a beautiful set of stone stairs up our 20 foot tall back hill.

 + -1 moreTHE COMPANY DID A VERY NICE JOB AND THE WORK WAS DONE WITH GREAT DETAIL. THE WORKERS WERE NICE ENOUGH TO REMOVE SEVERAL PIECES OF BASEBALL EQUIPMENT THAT MY SON AND HIS FRIENDS HAD LEFT ON THE GRASS.
Description of Work: THE FRONT AND BACK LAWNS WERE MOWED AND THE HEDGES AND PLANTS WERE TRIMMED. LUXOR ALSO CLEANED OFF ANY LEAVES OR OTHER DEBRIS ON THE PATIO IN THE BACKYARD.

WE HAD A ONE ON ONE CONSULT WITH JIM AND WHEN WE WERE HAPPY WITH OUR PLAN WE MET AT THEIR NURSERY (MAPLE VALLEY HIGHWAY) TO PICK OUT THE ROCKS AND THE PLANTS WE WANTED. JIM WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE PLANTS, OVER ALL VERY HELPFUL. THEY HAD A HUGE TASK OF HAND TRUCKING TONS OF ROCKS TO OUR BACK YARD AND MOVING THEM TO MEET MY NEEDS, THEY REARRANGED THE PLANTS I HAD SELECTED TILL I WAS HAPPY. THEY ALSO HAVE A GUARANTEE ON THEIR WORK, WE HAD A COUPLE PLANTS DIE AND THEY QUICKLY REPLACED THEM.

 + -1 moreWE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK DONE BY LUXOR. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, ON TIME. THEY HAND DUG THE TRENCHES FOR THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM IN 1 DAY AND IN THIS ROCKY SOIL THAT IS A FEAT IN ITSELF. THE NEXT DAY THEY INSTALLED THE PIPES AND LAID THE SOD. VERY FAST AND WHEN THEY WERE DONE THEY CLEANED UP SO NICELY YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN THEY HAD BEEN HERE. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THEM, IN FACT WE CALLED THEM BACK TO DO MORE WORK.
Description of Work: WE HAD A 4 ZONE IRRIGATION SYSTEM INSTALLED AND 1400 SQ FEET OF SOD LAID AND BARK APPLIED TO ALL FLOWER BEDS.
