CAPSTONE HOMES

Capstone had built our home and believe me what shoddy work they do. I feel our new home has the characteristics of a 20 year home with the quality of work that was done in every aspect. We had a upgrade of hardwood flooring through out the house. However at our walk through we discovered $2,333.25 worth of water damage to the floor in the kitchen. They refused to repair the floor and blamed us the buyers of doing the damage ourselves. I had reported them to the Better Business Bureau and to the Attorney General of Washington. We took them to small claims court but we were not able to settle it in that manner due to our contract on our purchase agreement that we were to handle any arbitration through the home warranty process which didn't help us as bit. We would have to pay $250 to submit a claim and was told that they would not be able to collect any monies from the builder. So the warranty isn't much help, it is just a feature to get you to feel good about buying a new construction.
