Hardwood Flooring Service
In my very first meeting with him he made an off-color joke referencing his anatomy, but I blew it off. When people show you who they are, believe them the first time. Please learn from my mistake and don't let Scott into your home. If he did some quality work I can ignore the crudeness, but he also majorly screwed up our floors and overcharged for it in the process. We will have to have our floors completely redone (at a point when we are able to move out of our house for a week again). He left huge washes of stain in our bedroom, heel marks in our hall, other puddles of stain in the kitchen, and the areas near our appliances in our kitchen are a completely different color. It was made known to us by a professional that Scott didn't screen after sanding, so parts of our flooring still feels really rough underfoot. There are other issues as well. Got lots of pics! Besides this - he threw a fit in the middle of the job, saying another contractor left some stuff out and he couldn't work under those conditions - then left for an unplanned rafting trip for 3 weeks, leaving us scrambling to reschedule a bunch of other contractors who were none too happy. Finally, at the end, we did a walkthrough to point out all the areas needing fixing and he said he would fix them, but when we tried to get back in touch he was rafting again, and made up excuses for not responding when my husband said that we would look into going after his bond. He then threatened my husband by saying he "knew how to play this game" and we wouldn't get anywhere. On the advice of a real flooring professional (who, as (bad?) luck would have it, had worked with Scott before) we did not contact him again because we were told that there was no real way to "fix" it other than sanding it all down and starting over. Which was fine by me because I have two kids, the guy's a creep, and I didn't want him back in my house again once we had changed the locks. So, please learn from my mistake and don't let Scott work on your home. And do your friends a favor and spread the word!

Hardwood Flooring Service, Flooring
I really wanted to leave a good review for Scott / Trinity Floors, but unfortunately he has disappeared on me. I hired Scott to redo my hardwood floors and tile/grout my new master bath. Throughout the entire process he was great, punctual, and communicated well. That was the case, until he was almost done and had his money. It?s been three weeks since he was paid, and he stopped responding to calls/texts a week and a half ago.
Scott sanded/stained my floors in two batches - the living/dining/kitchen in one pass and the hallway/bedrooms in a second pass. They have two distinctly different sheens to them, and where they meet in the middle you can see the transition. He promised to rebuff the floors to fix the problem, but has not. His tile work in the master bath yielded wall tiles that were unevenly set. He also pitched a soap niche the wrong way, so that the water currently collects in it instead of runoff as it should. He promised to fix this as well, but has not. There are other small details he had promised to complete as well that have been abandoned.
It?s really disappointing. And now I have to hire someone else to correct Scott?s workmanship.
I can?t recommend Scott, due to quality of work and the clear fact that he abandoned the project once he had his money. If you roll this dice and hire him, withhold every dollar until he is 100% complete as I should have.

Hardwood Flooring Service
Went well initially. The installer was in and out in the stated time and the result was good. There were issues with a few of the boards that the installer promised to address. He has not followed up or attempted to contact despite numerous requests.
