Toma Toma Firewood

James at Toma Toma was great. The wood was delivered exactly when he said it would be. The firewood was clean, dry and, as requested, a mix of Northwest woods - fir, hemlock, maple, alder and fruit woods (cherry and apple). I have been purchasing firewood for decades and this was definitely the best experience. I highly recommend Toma Toma Firewood.

I ordered a 1/3 of a cord of NW mixed wood. It was delivered on time and as promised. It was seasoned and ready to burn. James was friendly and professional and I would order from him again.

I am very happy with the wood, service and delivery process. Our property is remote and some say "intimidating" - dirt road, the whole nine yards. The guys showed up a few min late, but had called to tell me as such and got to work right away. They were kind and good. I hope to make this an annual process with them

James, the owner of Toma Toma firewood is the first honest firewood supplier I've found this year. I got burned on my first three purchases as I'm admittedly no expert on wood, and the wood was all still not dried out and too wet to burn properly. James is an honest and generous businessman. He brought me high quality dry wood of a proper quantity, plus a big box of free kindling and some other nice fruitwood to try out. I will definitely be looking to buy from him again. Compared to BLW, it's a no brainer. BLW sold me wet wood, but if you want to pay twice as much as Toma Toma you can probably get good wood from him, but you won't be saving a nickel on your energy bill with BLW's prices. Toma Toma is the way to go.

Jim delivered the goods. Found him here on AL and he more than lived up to the hype. Excellent communication throughout - he answered all of my questions about the various wood species and form factors (log lengths, split/not split...post and beam??), even going so far as to drop off some samples of the post and beam for me to try. The mixture I ultimately selected was dumped in my driveway with expert precision, sparing some nearby tomatoes but getting close enough to the wood shed that stacking was a breeze. Jim's pride in the quality of his product is justifiable - it's the nicest and most consistent firewood I've ever seen. His concern for the wood even extended to counseling that I have a tarp handy to cover the pile in case it rained before I could get it stacked. No worries there, fortunately, but the mere gesture spoke volumes. When I burn through this batch I'll be calling upon Jim again. No one else even comes close.

Jim delivered 1 1/4 cords of mixed wood and several boxes of kindling. He was in communication several times during the process and with me regarding the approximate time he would be at the house so I could meet him. He was right on time and extremely professional. I have been purchasing firewood for a number of years and the quality of the wood was the best I have seen in a long time. Cut to the right length and it was very well seasoned so there will be absolutely no issues starting the fire.

Last year I had a bad experience with another company where the quantity of wood I requested as well as the quality of the wood was not acceptable.

I would highly recommend Toma Toma to anyone without reservation. Everything from my first contact with Jim to the actual delivery of the wood was first rate and a great customer service experience.

Jim and crew was on time and delivered to our house quickly and even threw in a box of kindling. Will definitely be using them in the future for all of our firewood needs!

I am so happy with Toma Toma Firewood! Jim delivered 1/2 cord of beautifully dry, clean, and seasoned mixed firewood. I had a wonderful fire all day yesterday, and couldn't be more satisfied. Even though I ordered somewhat late, Jim made sure I had what I needed. He was right on time and communicated well and conveniently through email and phone. He was very efficient and tidy, and stacked the wood beautifully. He is very personable and friendly, and altogether I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. I think the price is reasonable for the quality of wood. Last year I bought cheap wood and got exactly what I paid for--lousy, dirty wood that was inconsistent in size and very difficult to chop small enough to fit my wood stoves. I'll be calling Jim earlier next year!

James is responsive to all communications and very professional. I've already recommended him to friends and family.

These guys have been great...I've been using them for Fruitwood for the past 3 years, and their wood has always been well seasoned and high quality, justifying the higher prices. Stacking and friendly service were pluses.
