Vasiliy and his team are highly professional, delivered high quality hardwood material and installation job on time, cleaned up every day before they left, and did not leave any damage to existing structure or furniture.  They reused all existing baseboard and reinstalled them almost as they were before.  I just needed to do minor caulking to cover the nails and seal between the baseboard and the wall which took me less than an hour to finish.  Thank you Vasiliy!

I can't say enough about Vasiliy and his crew.  We dealt with 3 different contractors over the course of a couple of months, as in addition to the floors, we also installed granite counters and painted the entire lower floor.  Vasiliy was by far the most responsive, professional, prompt, and knowledgeable of them all.  The house looks beautiful now!  Please give this company a try...I think you'll be glad you did.

Excellent job! Vasiliy was very quick to respond and provide us an estimate, and once we scheduled he was able to come out and do the work quickly. Beautiful job on the repair, and despite warning us several times that the finish would probably not match exactly, it blends in so well you would not know the difference if not looking for it. Price was reasonable, and was punctual and quick to finish. Will definitely use him again in the future if we need to do any other flooring work in our house.

In trying to decide to replace or refinish our red oak hardwood floors in the kitchen and entry, we decided to refinish, especially after talking to these folks. They helped us appreciate the fine wood already in place that just needed the chance to look its best again.

We caught NW Premium Hardwood Floors (and others) during a busy time, so communications sometimes took a day or two, but Vasilly (project manager / owner?) was helpful and thorough in answering our questions.

Pricing seemed reasonable and a bit below other estimates, though price was not the deciding factor for my choice.

We were in the midst of locking-in a start date when Vasilly called late one evening to inform us they could start the next morning. Given we had to essentially move out for 4-days (we chose the smelly but durable Swedish coating), we had to scramble to be ready.

They arrived early the next morning, showed us options for stain color by sanding and staining small sections of actual floor (really helped see the actual result, which they just sanded off), and then got to work. Two brothers were hard-working machines. They seemed to really know their craft, had the right equipment and skills, and transformed the floor. The stain brought out the grain and the three coats of satin finish we chose helped diminish the polished look we had wanted to avoid. Put another way, they nailed the look we had hoped for; the result was excellent. Looking closely I could see a few small areas where the sanding arcs of a courser pass didn't quite get sanded out by the finer pass, but it's not noticeable unless on hands and knees. Otherwise, each coat seemed even and applied properly - nice work ... on the floor.

After moving back in, they had agreed to replace the oven and refrigerator (we didn't want to scratch the new floor), but they stood us up on two subsequent days they had promised. Giving up on them we bought fibreboard to protect the floor and did it ourselves. They didn't even call back until two days later - not great follow-up.

Observations/suggestions: We had done our homework and knew what to expect about the dust from sanding the floors (despite good plastic sheeting and vacuum sanding system) and the need to VACATE for a few days while the Swedish finish cured. Also, a few dings are expected as they remove and replace baseboard. They failed to provide ANY information on what to expect, so I could see some frustration by those who found a dusty and smelly home for a few days afterward, or a ding or chip from the process. A simple one-page FAQ sheet would go a long way to reducing surprises for those not digging into the details. Dropping the ball in getting the appliances back in-place was irritating, but the floor work is what mattered most, and I feel they did a nice job.

Would recommend for the quality of the flooring refinish. Not so much for follow-through. 

The crew was very skilled and professional.  This work required interlacing the new floor with and existing floor.

We choosed this company after reading the reviews and we wanted a local outfit. We had several bids and they beat them all. Vasiliy came by and measured and talked us thru the process. His supplier didn't have the product we wanted, which we ordered from LL. another great experience. This project took 5 days to complete, some days we had 4-5 guys working and sometimes just one. We were surprised how young the crew was, but after watching them work we had little concern, they all worked so hard. Some had higher skills than others, but were assigned tasks they had experience with. My wife watched them all the time, I was undergoing chemo so could only check once or twice a day. She was very impressed with the crew and took good care of them, drinks, snacks, etc. communication was great even though English was second language, my wife included. We are very satisfied on how the project turned out, the crew moved all the furniture back in place. We are glad with our decision to higher these guys and felt so lucky to have them do our floors.

Vasilly came out and gave us a bid.  He and his crew did a very good job.  We had a swedish refinish done on the floors and they look like they are new.  We only had one problem and it was communication of when they would be here.  We waited the third day for them to show up, but they did not come that day.  Communication goes both ways though, and we never asked, just assumed.

Vasiliy came within a couple of days to give a quote and worked with us to get the job done as soon as possible. He did a great job of matching the stain and finish with our existing floor. This was a small job, but we would use his services for any sized floor project. Highly recommend!

We are extremely happy with the results!  Vasiliy suggested to replace one damaged section using boards from the closet which worked wonderfully.  He also made custom oak, in-floor vent covers that are flush with the floor; this really adds to the quality of the floors.   Vasiliy is a craftsman and who is personable and professional.  He responded quickly to all of our messages, his estimate and final cost were the same, he provided a detailed estimate and invoice.

The reason I am writing this review is because he was very responsive to my request for help with a crawlspace access door that was stuck, and in my non-expert opinion, had likely been sealed shut by the hardwood floor coating.  He returned my phone call and visited our house within one business day.  Though he denied his work was responsible, he nonetheless was able to get the crawlspace door open, when two plumbers and two water mitigation technicians could not.  I am impressed with his work ethic.

Vasily saw the project through from estimate to finish.  He was amazing to work with, responsive, patient, knowledgable, professional.  The floors look amazing, so beautiful.  He and his crew are so good at their craft.

Vasily and his crew were very professional and they were worrying about  little details, like where seams will show up in the stair nose as this was a 17ft long piece. The results are very nice and we are really happy with the way the floors turned out. He even recommended to make a flush vent register which was really nice. The price was fair compared to others and he was even willing to provide a discount to match others.
One thing I believe could improve is responsiveness. It was at time hard to reach Vasily or have a good sense of the timelines/days. Also, I would have liked to have better help with the color matching/selection. I had to almost pick the colors on the spot instead of having time to "digest" the different choices. Vasily did point me to the nearest hardwood supplier so I can get the colors and try out for myself but I would have preferred to see more floor samples "live" for the money I was paying.

The workmanship was very good. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work. Responsiveness and punctuality could be a little better but they worked very diligently when they were onsite. I would recommend them to others.

The experience was very good. The guy was excellent. They were fast, efficient, and they did excellent work. He was a little pricey.

Vasiliy and crew refinished our 16 year-old abused hardwood maple floors. Vasiliy emailed then met with me to view the job, discuss finish options and scheduling.  The crew arrived on-time as scheduled.  They hung plastic to cordon off the living and family rooms which eliminated most of the dust from the sanding.  They sanded the floors. They applied filler to the floor and re-sanded.  Vasiliy recommended a minimum of three coats of finish. They applied four coats at my request and replaced the baseboard moldings. They were done in three days.  All work was completed satisfactorily and the results are fabulous! The finish is smoother and more beautiful than when the floor was new.

I am very happy with my new floors.  The work was performed quickly and efficiently.
