NIELSEN BROTHERS CARPETS

Went to the Lynnwood showroom and were railroaded by one of the salesmen.  My husband and I both had an idea of what we wanted for carpeting, but the gentlemen (?) kept steering us to the more expensive carpeting.  Once our decision was made, 2 men who spoke very little English came to remove the old carpet and install the new.  They did a terrible job.  The edges around the walls were so loose that you could actually pull the carpet away from the wall.  Where the floor met the carpeting it was so poorly attached, that we were tripping over it even before the week was out.  Our stairs were not glued properly so when vacuumed, lose strands would get caught up in the vacuum.  They did NOT clean up after themselves and left my home a mess.  When I called Nielsen Brothers to complain, the jerk that helped us just said, "well, you get what you paid for."  NO restitution, not even an apology!!!

This was very expensive carpeting for our living/dinning room, and was specifically requested that it be good for a busy household and hold up well.  Well, it's only been 5 years, and we are replacing the carpeting with hardwood floors as I am writing this.  Actually using someone from Angies' list to install our flooring.  Thanks Angie!

Don't use Nielsen Brothers, or if you do so - do it at your own risk!!!!!

They did some work in my bathroom and when they put the toilet back in place they used the old seal and toilet ended up leaking. I've had to get a handyman here to fix the damage.

I was pleased with the price. We weren't looking for a bargain. We wanted good stuff and a good installation. My wife did most of the interaction with them. She liked them and thought she was well treated. They explained the carpet alternatives. The installation went as promised. We were pleased with their work. We aren't sure if we will use them to replace all of the carpets. Their politeness and respect stand out. There was no condescension. It was reasonably satisfactory.

The installation didn't go very well. The sales part of the process went well; I got the carpet that I wanted. I asked them to remove the old carpet, and they didn't take all of the staples out. They kind of made a mess. My son had to fix it up.

They are still in business and they do a good job. The quality of their product is very good.

SAMPLES WERE CHECKED OUT WILLINGLY AND PICKED UP WHEN MEASURING WAS DONE. CARPET CAME IN QUICKLY AND WAS INSTALLED PROFESSIONALLY. MANAGER OF THIS STORE VERY EASY TO WORK WITH.
