Beautiful work and extremely professional. I would hire them again.
Our home had some weird challenges like a lathe and plaster wall that they didn't have the right bit to cut into, so that also required deferring work until another time. if you know your house has any quirks like that, I suggest letting them know ahead of time. We were very happy with the work that Wyatt and Brian did, and I'd like to have them back. I wish I'd used them instead of Bowie for some of the other electrical work we wanted to do. But like with many contractors, keep in mind that the scope of a project can bleed into more time than you think you need, so I suggest budgeting for that so it isn't stressful!
I look forward to working with Milestone again, and I always give their name when people ask me for electrician referrals. It takes a lot to get a thumbs up from me because I'm kind of a picky pain in the butt, so please know that this recommendation doesn't come lightly!
The first thing he noticed was the ceiling height - it seemed low to him. After some measuring he determined that this was a false ceiling, probably done in the 1950s. The 'real' ceiling was 9 inches higher. This would make running wires more difficult.
Bryan took it in stride, put on a dust mask and climbed into the attic space. Not sure how he navigated through waist deep cellulose insulation, but he found the right spot, drilled down into the bedroom wall and pull the cable wire through. He installed a new plug high up on the wall, wired it to an existing outlet, connected the cable and power, even put the TV back on the wall.
A great experience overall. There was some sheet rock dust on the carpet, but he vacuumed it right up.
I would call Milestone again if I needed electrical work performed. Bryan knew a lot about old houses and how they're constructed.
