The fabric looks old and used despite regular cleanings with the steam cleaner. The cushions have sunken in and flattened to the point where you can feel the frame in places. The frame itself squeaks if you don't lower yourself carefully onto the sofa.
We were looking for a little better quality from Bassett...very disappointing. We just went to Hayek's Leather Furniture and ordered a custom reclining sectional for over $5000...because we've had quality furnishings in the past and know that well built furniture isn't cheap...but it lasts.
Bottom line...you get what you pay for (although we were expecting a few years of use out of $2000 worth of furniture).
