Lumberjacks Tree Service

They did an excellent job! Huge trees in a small area, and they did a masterful job. They removed everything and cleaned up the area very well. We have more work for them to do this spring and feel fortunate to have found them.

Job went well. Price was competitive, Les was responsive to my calls and texts, the crew showed up when they said they would, and they acted respectfully and professionally.
They were higher-impact on the lawn than I would have liked and that might have been a B on quality, but they also chipped some random branches I had sitting in a wheelbarrow so they saved an A.

The experience was bad. I reported them to the BBB. They didn't do the job. 4 of us went in on a deal and we wanted to have all the trees logged off our lot. He said that it would cost $700 for each, and all he did, was go to one neighbor, and clear out the middle. He kept balking at doing the rest of them. He did the ones that were away from the house. He didn't even touch ours. He said he would come out, and he didn't. This went on for over a year. Each one of us would pay $700, but he kept saying he would come out, and never showed. No calls, nothing. Eventually when I reported to BBB, he came out and did a few trees, but still didn't do the full job. He didn't do any trees at the neighbor next to us. The price would have been good if he had done the job. He did part of the job after BBB went for him. He was not a member of it, and all they could do, was contact him. He did some of it after they contacted him and that was after a year.  We were waiting for him to get here, but he never showed time after time. He subcontracted it out to somebody, and then they had a disagreement.

They were good. They did what we asked them to do. Scheduling was no problem, and they came out within a couple of days.

Lumberjack tree service came highly recommened from several  builders in the Lynnwood area.  Les is very professional and runs a great crew.  I was very impressed with the service and the fee.  Les also spent his personal time after he completed the job talking to a concerned neighbor.   Lumberjack tree service is a great company and I would send them to my mother.

I contacted Lumberjack's, making an appointment for an estimate the following day.  Russ was on time, professional and knowledgeable. We came to an agreement on the price for services. Russ was very detailed on the estimate form and re-explained the services being provided.
We set a date for two days following, however we had a big storm and I knew they wouldn't be able to work.  In a timely manner, Russ called to rescheduled, just one day after.
 On the day of the pruning work I watched as Russ performed the labor and directed his ground crew.  The resulting trimming, tree limb disposal and ground clean-up was done.
We well done,  I'd hire Lumberjack's again any time.

The job was done completely to our satisfaction from start to finish. The workers (4 of them) were professional, hard-working and completely engaged in the work for the 5 hours it took to limb the tree, take it down, chip up the limbs, and clean up the site. They were courteous to each other, and we noticed how careful they were as limbs were falling, so that no one would be injured. They also kept their containers of gas at a safe distance from any running equipment. They were also very careful as they parked vehicles and equipment in our driveway, and careful of other landscaping in the area of the tree being removed. We appreciated the good communication before and during the job with the owner, Les. 
We would highly recommend giving Les a call when need to remove a tree.

Les was prompt in providing an estimate. The estimate was thorough and provided insurance information so we chose him instead of two other companies that provided bids. He was able to schedule the tree removal immediately. It was done amazingly fast and cleanly. I couldn't have asked for a better customer service experience!

They were very safe in everything that they did. They were also extremely meticulous on their clean up. Their pricing was very fair.

It went great!  The work was completed in a timely and professional manner.  It was obvious that Les has been in this business for many years and when he said it would take a day and a half, I was skeptical.  He practically finished the job in one day!  This was at least a 150 foot pine tree that covered my entire yard and left a lot of debris in its wake.  Les removed everything including a swing play set and a trampoline.  I wouldn't hesitate to call Lumberjacks in the future.  He did a great job and worked with my insurance company to get a quick settlement.  Given the condition of my neighbor's trees, I'm sure I will be calling Les after the next big windstorm!

The last windstorm we had made me think that I should finally be proactive and take care of a large tree in my backyard before it becomes a problem. I called Lumberjacks Tree Service and he was able to get out the next day for an Estimate. I had called three other companies, two of which did not return my call and the third said they couldn't get out for a few days. When Les arrived he was on time and let me know that this was not going to be any problem and went over the details of how he was going to remove it. When he arrived to remove it he and his crew were on time and just got to work. I was very pleased when the work was done because the worry of that tree during future windstorms will not exist.

They gave a great presentation & fair bid. They were on time and the whole process took three days, like they said.

The workers came on time and they cut down the pine tree next to my house. As previously agreed,  they cut the trunks to short segments so I could put them in the yard trash bin. They also didn't remove the root which would cost extra money and I didn't want to. The overall process was quick and smooth. I would use their service again if there is such need.

It was a big job that took over 3 days and was probably longer than estimated.  None the less, they remained (price) competitive when expanding the scope of the work.  Unlike some other contracters that try to inflate the price with add-ons.
The owner is easy to work with and was helpful in designing a pruning plane that was aesthetic and wouldn't harm the trees.
Also, I sicked him on the neighbors and he convinced them to trim some of their view blocking trees to boot.

Les was GREAT!! He came on time and was incredibly competent. My son and I watched from the garage in awe as he scaled some massive conifers and swung monster branches out over the ravine behind our house. Seriously blew our minds. I am a Landscape Architect, Master Gadener, and work in design and horticulture at the moment. Serious plant n***. The trees are really close to my house and I fretted for a year about who to hire before I found Les. Improper pruning can severely damage trees, weakening them and creating huge heavy hazards. They are very visible from the inside of my house and I worried about it looking funny too. Les knows how to prune a tree! Every cut was perfect. Didn't cut in to the branch collar at all or try to sell me tree paint. He even strategically pruned a hemlock to hide my neighbors without my asking him too. Sun is pouring into my house now!! AMAZING service and very reasonable pricing! I've recommended him all over the place already.
