Poor customer service and poor troubleshooting on repairs. No satisfaction with our problems.

Lowe's installed the new flooring as part of a kitchen remodel. The installer was great. He did a perfect job even going around the gas pipe without any seams. He suggested a different transition than I had picked and it looked so much better. The installer would get a A. The flooring department at the store had some pricing problems which is why i gave the overall experience a B.

The person who took measurements was very professional recommended the carpet seems to go east to west to avoid the seems showing up with the natural light. The installers worked very hard, but installed the carpet with the seems going south to north. Other than that they did a good job.

We went to Lowes and picked out floor tile for a small bathroom (approx 30 sq. ft.). The flooring salesman took the tile and wrote up a slip to have someone come out and measure. There was a fee for this but he explained that it was refundable when we had the work done. A fellow came out and measured. A few days later we recieved a call with a total for labor and materials. It seemed very reasonable so we went in to pay for the job. The salesman went to check the tile we had picked out and came back with the wrong tile. We showed him what we wanted, again, and he said he would pull it right after we left so the installer would have it. The installer showed up and they had given him the wrong tiles. We had to go back to Lowes with the wrong tiles and get the right ones. The fellow who measure had also said that we needed 20 sq. ft. but the installer said we really needed 30. The people at Lowes apologized and gave us the correct tiles and the correct amount at no additional charge, which we thought was very nice. The installer returned and installed the tile and then came back and sealed it. We are very happy with the end result and feel that the only problems where the result of that one salesman not doing his job. I would definately recomment Lowes for installation to anyone.

It's a do it yourself home improvement store. When going to Lowes you pretty much need to know what you're looking for; there may not be someone there to help you with you project needs.

My experience with them was fine. They showed up on time for the appointment. They told me what the work entailed. The workers came in and did the work on time as scheduled. They were personable. The price seemed to be reasonable; we had scouted around a little bit.

I needed an outdoor extension cord for 200 feet. When I entered the store, someone greeted me and helped me find where the extension cords were. I was able to easily find someone there to help me, which is so difficult in many big box stores. He spent a long time with me, because no cords exist that are 200 feet. He explained to me the differences between all of the available cords (which were more complicated than I realized) and made sure I got a combination of cords that would work for such a long distance. He even went to his computer to do some research to make sure what I got would work. I was very impressed. Also, when I went to check out, someone went to get me a cart for carrying the cords since they were heavier than I had anticipated. This store really knows how to provide good service. I will definitely use them in the future whenever I need something from a hardware store.

We usually find the help we need here and we do get our questions answered.

We ordered the refrigerator online and were given a delivery date of July 28, 2010. I called them on July 28th to see where it was, it hadn't even been shipped by the factory yet! They had no idea when it would arrive, maybe the 20th of August. Of course not one word from them that there was an issue regarding delivery. We routinely have trouble with this Lowes, never again.

From start to finish, Mike in cabinets and countertops was very helpful and patient with us (we were a little gun shy after having some bad contractors in the past.) He saved us some money by telling the installation company that they couldn't charge for angled corners. He had to revise the bid a couple times and worked with us to get everything right. Overall, everyone at Lowe's seemed helpful and eager to be of service. It seems like a well-managed store. The installers were Precison Countertops and they did a great job. Alex, the head installer, was helpful and hard-working and seemed to want to get everything just right.

Absolutely amazing service and prices! Ryan in appliance and flooring, John in cabinets and countertops and Dan in installation were all so patient (and helpful!) with my ever changing mind. Wanting to have top quality products at an exceptional price and that were all "coordinated" to my idea of a dream kitchen! My home is 20 years old and in a much needed state of updating, however, the age presented problems with the newer models. Not only did they help me pick the PERFECT products, but when I decided I wanted to keep my existing bay window's frame, Dan and Maggie came to my home to help me figure out how it could be accomplished with new countertops (the countertops and cabinets will be installed this Summer). An example of the outstanding service was when three weeks after flooring installation, a very small spot of my flooring needed resealing, one call to Dan and within HOURS there was someone at my door to make sure I was 100% satisfied! I cannot rave about the Lowe's Lynnwood team enough, they were professional, kind, patient and incredibly helpful throughout what I had always heard was a nightmare...a kitchen remodel! Instead, it was a wonderful experience. My kitchen is beautiful, I can hardly wait until Summer when John will put in my new cabinets and countertops! I am a teacher and the Lowe's team earns an A+!!! Great job everyone...thank you!!!

It was great! We went to Lowe's because we'd had a very negative experience with another store about 15 minutes before. We went to the cabinet department, without an appointment, and started talked with John. He had an appointment scheduled for that afternoon, but he helped us for as long as he was able, without our feeling rushed. By the time his next customers showed up, he was ready for them, but had also left us with a good feeling about the direction our remodel was going. He helped us with ideas and configurations, told us about some special deals they had going on and provided solutions for some of our space challenges. By the time we were done, we had a kitchen full of beautiful new cabinets and a great feeling about the service provided.

Everything went well from selection of carpet throughout installation. Our salesman Barry was very knowledgeable about his products and pleasant to deal with. Installation crew arrived in the window scheduled and proceeded with the installation. Crew was very professional, clean and completed their work in a timely manner. Entire work area was cleaned up and all debris was removed to my satisfaction. Carpet looks beautiful.

A salesperson approached me but I did not need their assistance. My son helped me choose the appropriate faucet to meet my needs. I was so pleased as the faucet was on sale. In the past, I have purchased appliances from them. They are very attentive to my needs and informative. I choose this one as they are located in the northwest local area.

Eta, the cabinet specialist, was very nice in the design phase, but she did not fully disclose all the stages of the process, otherwise we wouldn't have ordered our cabinets with Lowe's. Apart from the design, the process was a nightmare. The coordination between the store and their contractors was terrible and we were left with a disconnected sink for days, hence unable to cook, while we waited for the countertop people to come and take measures. We had the vanity and other pieces in our garage for months, so we could only park one car inside, and it hailed and the wind was throwing around all kinds of debris. It took them almost two months between the installation of the cabinets and the countertops. Cooking was very uncomfortable as we could not use our old countertops because they did not fit the new cabinets. Do yourself a favor and do not work with these people. They are expensive and couldn't care less about their customers.

The estimate was done quickly and professionally. The installer was able to come quicker than expected to do the work, worked around our schedule, and was very good. They were professional, thorough (but quick), and did a fantastic job.

OVERALL, THE PERSON INSTALLING THE WATER HEATER WAS PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL. YOU CAN NEVER TELL AT LOWE'S IF THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO SELL YOU STUFF OR IF THEY REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. THEY WERE HELPFUL EXPLAINING THE CODE REGULATIONS FOR THE EARTHQUAKE KIT.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD. THE PEOPLE WHO CAME OUT WERE ON TIME AND FRIENDLY, AND THEY DID GOOD WORK. THE FINAL PRODUCT WORKED GOOD.

BOUGHT CARPET THROUGH LOWE'S AND THEY PROVIDED THE INSTALLERS. INSTALLERS SHOWED UP ON TIME, WERE NEAT ABOUT REMOVING OLD CARPET AND DID A GOOD JOB OF INSTALLING NEW CARPET. INCLUDED UPHOLSTERY WORK ON CEMENT FOUNDATION.

GAP LEFT BETWEEN FLOORING AND WALL EXCEEDED THE MAXIMUM NEEDED FOR BASEBOARDS COVERAGE. ADDITIONAL WORK NEEDED TO BE DONE WITH SUBOPTIMUM APPEARANCE. THIS INCLUDED NO TRANSITION IN ONE AREA, JUST CHALK AND CUTTING OUT TOO MUCH HARD WOOD FLOOR AND THEN HAVING TO COVER IT WITH CAULK IN ANOTHER. WORK WAS ALSO DELAYED. ORDERED IN OCT, COMPLETED IN JAN. SOME COMMUNICATION ISSUES AS WELL.
