The original installation went fine. Fast forward to 8 years after install, when my roof began leaking in several spots on the backside of the house. Loberg did not answer their phones and did not return any of my messages. When I did finally reach someone, they stated their labor warranty is only 10 years. Last Fall I had to have a complete reroof, as there were many leaks on the backside of the house. It appears they had not laid plywood prior to laying the shingles. I shouldn't be experiencing leaks 8 years into a new roof, nor should I have to pay to entirely reroof my house 14 years into a 30 year roof.

The crew showed up on time, got right to work and a fantastic job!! Only took about a day and a half to strip off the old roof, replace the boards that needed replacing, and lay down the new roofing materials! We had several companies give us estimates (estimates ranging from $18K-$25K on an 1800+ sqft home) on the exact same amount of work. Loberg Roofing came in at a fraction of the cost!! Highly recommend them!!

Loberg was one of four bids that I received, but having used them a few years ago for another rental home, they were already in first place. The bid was competitive, but the employee who Loberg was one of four bids that I received, but having used them a few years ago for another rental home, they were already in first place. The bid was competitive, but the employee who made the bid excelled at communication, knowledge, and honesty; I didn't feel like he was trying to "sell" as much as "explain". They got the job! Once on the job, even in the cold/wet winter that we have been having, the workers were on time, very hard-working and the roof was done in two plus days! Even the neighbors were happy.....the clean-up was thorough and the workers so pleasant and diligent. There is a company in Seattle who says "get three bids but make sure "ours" is one"....I would say the same but add the name of LOBERG to your roofing bids!

We found Loberg by identifying roofs in the neighborhood that we liked. We found them to be very friendly and they gave clear explanations of products and job. They offered more than the mainstream products which gave us a better product for a more reasonable price. A large, productive crew cleaned up at the close of each day. A worker accidentally stepped through roof. Loberg was responsive and made arrangements for complete repairs. Four months in, no problems and still satisfied. Cost of service includes roof, all new gutters, and skylights. Roof alone was 19,250 for large square foot roof.

Great! This was our second roof replacement with Loberg, and they exceeded their level of service on our first roof. This was a fairly big roofing job on an average sized one story house (1500 sq ft + attached garage), dealing with extensive issues in the roof system - soft plywood (not quite "rot" yet, but close), missing fascia boards, rotten barge boards on the gables, poorly done gutters, missing drip edge all around, and a few questionable design and framing issues from the original builder back in 1976. Loberg walked us through all of the details ahead of time, pointing out many useful and important decisions we needed to make (right down to the sizes of the new fascia boards so it all matched up correctly), and even worked around us so we could resolve the design issues with the original roof/eave framing where the garage roof met the main roof, since it was perfectly accessible with both the shingles and roof sheathing removed. The results are spectacularly good - the house looks much better now, and the roof is a big part of that. This house is a one story house, fairly close to the road with no trees to block the view, and sits lower than the street due to a small hill. This makes the entire front half of the roof clearly visible from the street - it's what you look straight at when you look at the house from the street. It looks so good, that I'm going to need to repaint the house in the spring to make the paint look as good as the roof. :-) Blake was great to work with throughout the entire process - from the original estimate, through the scheduling, to the actual work, to the final wrap up and payment - he was on top of things, in communication on details and changes in plan due to weather, and always ready to answer any questions I had. The crew was similarly great - they took care to keep the job site clean, minimize any impact on the landscaping, work around the ever-changing weather we have around here in early October, all while making sure the roof was done right and looked good. The final price was more than fair for the work they performed.

Loberg was excellent to deal with from start to finish. We highly recommend them to anyone who needs roofing work done.

Blake Atwell came out to do our estimate, and did a good job, including catching some important details other estimators missed. He called out a few areas that could be problematic due to the design of the house, and made sure it was noted in the bid + work order so it was handled correctly. The bid price was not the lowest we received, but it was very reasonable, and they were the most professional, without feeling like a used car salesman was selling you the model of the day. Sadly, I can't say that about some of the other roofing companies we got estimates from, so working with Blake was a very nice surprise in that regard. He took the time to go over details in depth and answer a ton of questions from a mostly DIY homeowner. He also explained the different shingle products very well, including coming back and dropping off a number of shingle sample boards for us to look at and compare side by side against our house to see how they would look at different times of the day. He was just a really enjoyable person to talk to - he really enjoys what he does and takes pride in making sure the job was done well for an reasonable price.

They were able to reschedule our job earlier due to the weather giving them a chance to get in more jobs, which was great. The installation team was here when they said they would be here, worked fast, and were very friendly - they clearly had fun working together, and worked quickly as a team. Cleanup was ongoing as the work progressed, and when the work was complete, they did multiple rounds to ensure the job site was clean - likely cleaner than when they arrived. How often can you say that a contractor arrives early, finishes the job in less time that they estimated, and leaves the place spotless when they are done - all for one of the better price estimates we received?

We knew there was a section of rot in one eave where it met a valley, and when it was uncovered, I was able to inspect it and authorize specific work on the fly. The rot was more extensive than expected, so they had to send a guy out to pick up extra materials "on the spot". Thanks to some quick thinking by the foreman, it had no overall impact on the job schedule. They were also very reasonable about the time and materials cost for the additional work this required - I would have gladly paid a lot more than they billed me for that piece of the work.

The work was estimated to take 2.5 days, and was completed in 1.75 days - as I said, the crew worked amazingly fast.

The new roof looks so good that we had someone from our neighborhood stop by while the work was still going on so they could get Loberg's contact information for their roofing job, which we happily provided.

They went above and beyond. They were always verifying I was comfortable. He did a lot of handholding during the process, which I appreciated. They're very nice and friendly, and stick to what they say they're going to do.

They were okay. There was a few little issues. Roofers are scary, they can show up for the job and put a roof on but if they don't know what they're doing, I'm in big trouble. You have to have a good roof living in the Pacific Northwest. They right in there with the other three estimates I've done. They were punctual. They're customer service after the job was not the best that's why I'm giving them a B. It wasn't the job, it was the customer service afterwards.

The installation was fine and we had no problems until I had started experiencing a dripping rust down the side of my home. I have longer eaves and this is where the rust was collecting. The rust was very noticeable and in trying to cover it up, I attempted to paint over the rust. I contacted the roofing company requesting resolution of the situation. They sent somebody out who explained that the flashing or drip cap should have been replaced along with the roof installation. They explained that they would have management get back to me. I never did hear back from them so when I contacted them again they did send another team to look over the flashing or drip cap. They also explained that the drip cap should have been replaced at the time of the install and they would have a member of management get back to me. After a long period of not hearing back from them I was presented with an invoice estimate to replace the flashing for $1,000.00. I had called them as our original contract did explain that they would have replaced the flashing along with the roof. The wording was that they would provide all roof related flashing to ensure a water tight system. They then countered with a $500.00 offer. At this point I have discussed it with their manager, Jason, and he was extremely curt and sarcastic with me over the phone. By my understanding of the contract, they should have replaced the entire flashing including the drip caps. As they did not replace the flashing or drip caps I am now experiencing this rust issue. I believe that they should replace this at no additional cost as the contract would state that it should have been included in the original re-roof.
