Krause laminates

These guys know their laminates. And they run a super efficient operation. Cindy, gal who runs the office, rocks. She made my basement kitchen counter fab + install happen with only a 7-day lead in the middle of holiday season without breaking a sweat. Great price too. Outstanding!

The install team, Tim and Dean, did a great job!  I am more than thrilled by the new countertop and sink.  It looks gorgeous!! Everything went smoothly from Cindy in the front office taking so much time to help me figure out what type of laminate would look best, to the day of the actual install, which was much much quicker than I had hoped for!  Dean and Tim arrive bright and early and completed the countertops beautifully!!  They cleaned up the site and gave me tips on the new sink and countertops.  They were happy and upbeat installers and such a pleasure to have in my home!  I cannot say enough good things about Krause Laminates.  I had looked at a lot of different companies and had different price quotes, but no one could beat their price, customer service, (thank you Cindy!!), workmanship and install team (Dean and Tim)!  They are the best and I plan to use them when I redo my bathroom shower.  I would recommend them to all!   

I worked with Cynthia who was extremely helpful and easy to talk to.  I was able to send her some pictures of my kitchen via my phone and receive a pretty accurate estimate.  I could have paid much less than I did, but after showing up at the showroom to pick a surface, I fell in love with a more expensive option and went with it.
Less than a week later the installers showed up on time and were done within 4 hours.  They were courteous and cleaned up after themselves.  I love my new kitchen!

I had need for a small piece of laminate for a furniture refinishing project that I was doing myself. 
I had seen the Krause Laminates listing on Angie?s List and saw that they carried a large inventory of various laminates.
I sent a request for a price using the Krause Laminates website but received no response. 
I then sent an email request to the listed Krause email address, but again did not receive a response.  Then I
contacted Krause using the ?message? feature on Angie?s List, but still there was no response.
I drove to the Krause office and shop on August 13 and explained my request to Ervin Krause, the owner.
The office staff was aware of my Internet requests and explained that their website was being revised and they were
having ?computer problems? and were not receiving all of their messages and had not been able to answer.
Mr. Krause had my requested laminate prepared and finished in his shop while I waited and accommodated
me with a very favorable price for the work.  I was quite pleased with the service and attention I received.
I would definitely recommend Krause Laminates for any projects involving the use of Formica or the other
brands of laminates this shop has available.

Krause laminates was very responsive and patient with our questions. They were fairly priced and got the job done quickly. We would definitely recommend them.

They had my kitchen counters, island and two bathroom countertops all done in 5 hours. They cleaned up there mess and were on their way.

I had Krause Laminates install my countertop for my new kitchen remodel. While I do like the finished product, the installation
process was a painful one.
My biggest disappointment was the lack of neatness and attention to detail on the installation. When the installers left after
the first day, I had to spend 20 minutes cleaning up after them. There were large piles of sawdust in the corners, and in the cabinets, and the countertop had streaks left on them from the solvents. My perception was that they felt my house was just a construction site.
When they came back to install the rounded edging, they knew I’d complained about the previous mess, so I expected them to be very attentive to doing a neat, detailed job. But instead I found big smears of lumpy glue on some of the drawer fronts and cabinet side panels. In addition, there was glue inside some of the drawers, on the drawer bottoms (which I've now covered with drawer liner). In some places the bottom of the countertop edge was badly lumpy with glue, and that’s where the worst of the glue was on the drawer fronts. It was so bad that some of the drawers were sticking when trying to open them. In other places the bottom of the edging was smooth and clean feeling, and that’s where I felt no glue residue on the cabinetry. It took me a few hours to pick and rub the glue off the 3 side panels, 4 drawer fronts, and 2 drawer bottoms, as well as the bottom edge of the countertop. At that point, I didn’t believe that having them back to fix it would leave me with a clean kitchen (not to mention I was pretty mad), so I preferred to do it myself.
I also found a chip in the edge of the countertop, and they sent one of their more experienced installers to make it almost invisible, and I’m going to let that one go. I don’t want to think about it anymore.
Every other vendor/tradesperson I’ve had in my home in the past several months has done a stellar job, has been a pleasure to have in and around my home, and I’d highly recommend. I’ve had a new roof put on, a new skylight installed, and my kitchen completely gutted and remodeled (including extensive plumbing and electrical work). I’d recommend them all. But based on
my experience, I do NOT recommend Krause Laminates.

We were initially pleased with the experience of choosing the company and our products. The day of installation was great. The company's work crew were prompt, polite and professional. We were pleased with our choices. Then we had some issues with the adhesive used for the job. After several phone calls someone came out twice to remedy the problems. The issue was not resolved. Now we are into August of 2013 and still waiting for the 'final fix' for our countertops. I am sure the problem will be resolved, eventually. We like the Formica product very much. Consumers just need to be diligent and patient to see the problem-solving process through to the end.

From the first phone call, to Cindy giving me an onsite estimate, to Ervin installing my new countertops...an A+. Today's laminate is so different from what most of us are use to! It's gorgeous! There was an issue with the work schedule, but between Cindy and Ervin; the communication was spot on. I have absolutely no complaints with Krause Laminates...

Erv, Cindy and Krause Laminates were a joy to work with. Prompt quote on the work. Great advice for the kitchen and bathroom counters. The resulting work has had tons of compliments. The days of install (two separate projects) went smoothly and care was taken for the house and its contents. I highly recommend them! The kitchen laminate looks so much like granite you have to touch it to realize it is not stone.

They were very professional, timely and great to work with. The counter tops look great and really update my kitchen.

I initially went to visit the shop in person to get an idea of the types of countertop finishes that might work for my kitchen project. The owner, Ervin, was there and was very knowledgeable and helpful. We set up a time for an in-home consultation and Cindy came over to take all the measurements, see the spaces and offer some suggestions on what designs would work best. Less than a week later, Ervin arrived right on time to get everything installed, it took about half a day, and the countertops look beautiful -- a great improvement! With Cindy's great color choices and Ervin's expert installation, I am very satisfied and would love to have the chance to work with them again.

It all got off to a great start when we met with Cindy in the front office. She is a pleasure to work with, totally knowledgeable about the products, and their applications. Best of all, Cindy has great ideas and suggestions, but doesn't impose her concepts on you. She is at master at helping you find exactly what you want. The install team from Krause arrived as promised, and on time. We can't say enough about the quality of these professionals. Each one was respectful of our property, hardworking and a true craftsman. We also met with Erv, the owner and we appreciated his positive, professional attitude. This is an outstanding company, and we give Krause Laminates the highest endorsement possible. You can't go wrong with great products, great people, and a great price.

They did an edging that was dragged out because their supplier was slow and made several errors. Any errors were eventually corrected by Krause and they took $200 off the bill for the inconvenience.
