J & R TRUCK RENTALS

If I could leave a zero star, I absolutely would. A family member and his wife rented a 24' to move across the state, my father and I drove the truck. The truck was an absolute piece of crap that shouldn't have been on the road, period. Turn signal lever/headlight switch busted off, air blowing hot all the time, seats torn up and not comfortable to sit on for any amount of time, doors have to be unlocked a certain way (not able to unlock from outside) and you have to jiggle the handle just to get it open... the truck broke down on the return trip in Ellensburg. We made multiple calls to the office trying to reach anybody for help, to no avail, and we were limited to leaving voicemails asking for help due to the office closing earlier than advertised and not being open at the time we called... There was absolutely NO 24/7 EMERGENCY NUMBER FOR RENTING CLIENTS TO CONTACT.... 2 men had to miss an entire day of work due to having to stay overnight in Ellensburg and waiting till mid afternoon the next day for the J&R owner, "Rob", to get something worked out so we could get this POS truck back to their location. We had some major expenses for last minute hotel, dinner, breakfast, lunch, wasted time... and not 1 single apology or decent return phone call to assure us of things being worked on. WE had to make every phone call to THEM, asking for Rob "the owner" who was not available until later on. We ultimately limped the POS truck all the way back on a new battery... hoping it would make it over the pass and back to Lynnwood... which it ultimately did. They knew their truck had issues and we were stranded, and yet they tried to charge us for the "extra day" that we had the moving truck... I have never experience such disregard for others, for absolutely no consideration of the additional costs incurred due to J&R Trucks defective piece of crap and ill maintained equipment and for their UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE BEHAVIOR towards us and my brother (who rented the truck in the first place), who was trying to get this settled with them after more unanswered and non-returned phone calls from Spokane for a week. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE CHEAP UNPROFESSIONAL JERKOFFS!!! RENT FROM A REPUTABLE BUSINESS (LIKE U-HAUL) WHO HAS A SYSTEM TO TAKE CARE OF SUCH EVENTS WITH PROFESSIONALISM AND SPEED. NOT AN OWNER (RON FRITZLEY) WHO HAS REMAINED HIDING IN THE OFFICE BEHIND OTHER EMPLOYEES AND WAITING TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS! Just because they're "cheaper", doesn't mean they're the best.... JUNK JUNK JUNK mobiles... STAY AWAY! GO TO U-HAUL!!!!!

They had the truck I wanted (didn't oversell which was nice), reasonable price, no hassle.
