Dropped me without notice apparently because I frequently had to correct overcharges.

Hector is very knowledgeable and helpful for the project. He is fast and effective in communication. The cost is fair and competitive compared to other contractors. They got the job done nicely and in time .

I hired him, once. He came as agreed. Wonderful guy. Then I asked him to come back 2 more times in my absense and he did. But he has not billed me. I even texted him once to ask him to invoice me. He said he would, but has not. He needs accounts recievable help.

Yard was in need of cleanup for an upcoming birthday party. Ivy, weeds, and blackberries had overrun outside of yard area and grass was overgrown. Hector came by to provide a quote. He was friendly and nice. I asked him if we could do it soon for an upcoming birthday party and we was able to get me in the next Saturday. The crew arrived early in the morning and worked until the afternoon. Everything went smooth and the yard looks great. They even did some extra things that wasn't part of the original quote but made the yard look better. Afterward, Hector and I walked around the yard to confirm everything was done accordingly. They take pride in the work they do.

Hector and 2 workmen arrived, listened to, and heeded, my concerns. They then cut the grass, put the clippings in my compost container, and aerated the lawn in a timely manner. They were friendly, efficient and thorough.

I have finally found the excellent gardening firm that has eluded me in the past. Hector was highly professional, very responsive and the crew did a super job on my very large yard and lawn. Everything looks beautiful, and impressed neighbors have asked about who did the work. I would definitely hire them again, and as a matter of fact I have. Eden will be doing my lawn mowing and edging as well.

I called Hector on Saturday and he arrived Sunday morning with 2 others to review the job. Hector and his crew were very easy to talk to and they understood what I was looking for. They had good questions and advice. I received an estimate by e-mail that evening. The crew arrived the following Friday at approximately noon, and worked until almost 5:00 PM, pretty much solid. About 4:00 PM Hector asked me to walk the yard with him to make sure that I was happy with the work. Everything looked great. We had forgotten to discuss mowing the yard, so they went ahead and did that as well, adding about $40 to the cost. Final cost was slightly over estimate to cover the mowing and trimming. I found Hector and his crew very polite, easy to deal with and helpful. There were a couple of missed items from our initial discussion, but given the extent of the job and Hector's knowledge I'm not disappointed. We've already discussed additional work that we'd like done, and look forward to working with Hector in the future.

Hector was prompt in returning my calls. He came by as promised and spent about a 1/2 hour walking the yard with me to be sure he was clear what we wanted. He gave me a prompt quote that was competitive and about what I expected. He suggested a few extra vegetation cut backs I had not noticed plus added bark and weed preventative treatments in the quote to keep things under control. When it came time to do the work, he had a crew of 4-5 guys that spent nearly two full days and did a great job. They hauled away all the old clippings and cleaned up perfectly. I was very impressed and hired him to come back every two weeks and mow our steep yard to keep it under control. His price on that was very good as well. Some before and after photos are attached. Highly recommended. Great quality work. Dependable. Will hire him again.

Excellent. The foreman was friendly and helpful and he and his crew did a great job quickly. Hauled away the cut material and raked and collected detritus above what I was expecting.

I thought they were very good, but a little over priced. I had a coupon and I still thought they were over priced. They were here for five hours. I think for what they did it should have been less money. They were in the backyard, they estimated a whole day, and I felt that I was charged for the whole day when they were here for five hours instead of eight hours. I had asked them to relocate a specific plant and they charged me extra for that. They did not tell me about it.

We had Hector and his crew come out to weed  whack and mow an extremely overgrown yard.  During the initial consult he said it would probably be 10 days or so before they could come complete the job, but it only a week until they made it out.  Hector called and stopped by keeping me updated with his schedule prior to their visit and was very friendly and professional with all interactions.  He was here working with his crew the whole time, and they did a great job.  They were all detail oriented and took care of a few other things like cutting back some broken branches and clearing the walkways when they were done.  
 
The price was very reasonable.  It ended up being slightly under the estimate, plus we were able to use the coupon on here for the first service.  I got a quote for doing routine mowing every 2 weeks or so, and we will probably have them start in on a few other cleanup projects in the future.  Hector even said he would swing by next week and check in on the yard since it had been so overgrown and will take a few mows to get the lawn back in shape.   All in all great service and a great price.  We look forward to future service with this crew.  

Hector and his crew arrived early as planned.  Worked non stop for 2 days.  They did a beautiful job...my wife and I are estatic!  Our yard was pretty much overgrown and Hector and his crew brought it back to life!  Lots of weed pulling, bush removal, and general cleaning.  Hector was extremely flexible....we kept on coming up with more requests, and he would take care of it....long story short....a good man, with a strong work ethic and good crew!

The outdoor space had not been attended in about 4 years.  Weeds and plants were overgrown and needed trimming and/or removal.  Hector and I arranged for the work to be done during the week but he had an opening in his schedule and called to see if he could do the work on the weekend.  Several days earlier than expected, but it suited us just fine.  He and his crew did and excellent job weeding, trimming hedges, and laying bark.

Hector's crew is fantastic. Our place looked so much better when they were finished. Hector is a good communicator and performed more work than I expected for less than he originally estimated. He responded quickly, even though we contacted him at the busiest time of year. I'm glad that he was able to help us out!

As mentioned above, it went well, from the point of specifying the work needed, to the execution.

Many truckloads of stuff to the dump, and many yards of bark from the nursery, and it was beautiful.

My problem: getting my house ready for sale, with a very large yard (1/3 acre) with overgrown bushes all over the place. Once I explained that I was trying to get it ready for sale, Hector knew exactly what it needed, and as he started to describe what he envisioned needed to be done, it was right on target for what was needed. The execution was excellent. Considering the scope of work that needed to be done (multiple trips to the dump, many yards of bark), the price was good. The place looked like a park when they finished.

As I said, they have done such a good job on one-shot yard maintenance tasks that I hired him to do my front yard on a recurring basis.

It would almost be worth to dealing with Hector just to experience such old-world manners and charm ... you never met such a mannerly gentleman. And his crews are very hard workers do all they can to meet our needs for a good price. Hard to ask for more. I have used Hector for several projects, and will continue to do so in the future. Highly recommended.

Things started off pretty well but soon deteriorated. He was on time for the initial meet and seemed enthusiastic. We made arrangements for him to do some weeding and general yard cleanup. I arrived home from work and the yard looked great. We paid approximately $240.00. We talked about how he was to mow the lawn (not too short) and agreed to mulch the clippings. Things went fairly well for the first two visits but the price seemed to be inching up...taxes he said. The last two times he mowed we had to call him to see if he was going to show up. The last time he had a sub mow and edge who released some gasoline into the ground when his edging tool wouldn't start up. I also discovered that they had been using our green barrel for their clippings. Definitely not per our agreement. After the green barrel was emptied that week there was a strong smell of gasoline in the bottom of the barrel. After reading all of the rave reviews I was quite disappointed. After writing Hector a check for nearly $50.00 the last time I informed him that his services would no longer be required.

Contacted Hector and we sat up a time to meet. He gave me a price and time to do it. They were out here that day. Worked a day and a half and did a great job. Will have him do work for us in the future.
