Custom Touch Electric LLC

Using Thumbtack, I received 5 companies interested and 3 visited my house and bid.   I chose John Gary and Custom Touch Electric LLC.  They showed up early on the day scheduled to bid, waiting on the street for the appointed times  John came with his partner Sabrija who does the electrical work.  They seemed to be more innovative and willing to work with me in getting my house wired in a safely and ready for a remodel planned later.  They put me at ease but they were the first of the three bids and wanted to see what the other contractor would say.  After all of the bids,  their price was 1/3 less then the next bid.  After choosing Custom Touch, I contacted John and he was able to schedule my panel change right after Thanksgiving.    I recall John and his partner Sabrija showed up a little late due to having trouble locating the right combination meter/service panel, but I didn't mind since I knew it was going to be a two day job anyway .  While John pulled the necessary permits, Sabrija went to work doing all the prep work of mounting the service panel and installing the new service strike though the roof.   I was concerned that the opening in the roof would leak but he assured me it would not and he were right,  it has never leaked.  At the end of the day, the new combination meter/service panel and service strike was in.   The next day Sabrija showed up with his brother to finish the job.  They continued to mount conduit and wire.   When all the prep was complete, it was time to sever the old electrical strike and move it to the new strike.  After the strike was moved, it was time to connect the wires to the new panel and connect the strike to the service panel.   After everything was connected, the power was turned on and each circuit was checked that it was functioning and that nothing in the house was left without power.  After everything was running again, the panel was marked with what each circuit breaker was connected to and everything was cleaned up and hauled away.   They arranged an inspection by the city which showed up two days later.   I was concerned that there would be at least one issue but there was none and after 5 minutes the inspector labeled the panel inspected and that day the permit was finalized by the city.
