Arreguins Fencing

The removal of the old fence and installiation basically went okay. The last post in the front yard was placed incorrectly and instead of correcting it the owner, Luis Chavez, tried to convience us it was because of the shape of the yard. We had to come up with a work around rather than Luis or his workers. The material and work quality are mediocre at best but we did go with the lowest bid. The worst part is that we also had 3 gates installed that within a couple of weeks, 2 did not close properly. We have been trying to get him to fix them for months, but with no luck. Neither Luis nor Judy are responsive. When we finally got a date from Luis (this is after weeks of calling and leaving messages), neither he nor his workers showed up. The most unbelievable thing was that instead of calling us, he sent a text saying that his workers may show up.
The approximate date of service is the last day we spoke with Luis.
I put a "C' for punctuality only because when we did have the fence and gates initially installed, they actually showed up on the day they said they would.

I tore down old fencing, except for posts, which they cut off at ground level. Arreguin's price was lower than any one else. They installed new cedar fencing. They had a lot of work and it took them a few extra days to start job, but once they started, they showed up every morning and worked hard all day. There were several challenges in the project (trees, brush, uneven ground, etc). They worked well with the neighbors who wanted different height and style of fencing. The workers were easy to work with and nice. Overall, we were pleased with the job and would hire them again.

Luiz Chavez, the company owner, kept all appointments on time. He was genuinely interested in meeting our needs for a new fence and making us happy. He cooperated with us to keep the cost down while still building a quality fence. His fencing crew was very courteous and obvisouly knew what they were doing. The crew stayed on schedule and kept the work site very clean as they demolished the old fence and rapidly constructed a new one, all in the span of 4 days. We're very happy with the result!
