The A-1 crew were wonderful. Their workmanship and skill level were very high and their cleanup was meticulous. Everything went exactly according to the schedule that Tom Smith gave me and their pricing was excellent. A 110 year old concrete floor that was a mess is now perfect.

A-1 NW Concrete did a wonderful job! I couldn't be happier. The owner, Tom Smith, gave me a good bid, and his crew worked quickly and efficiently to finish my project in only two days. I was wary because I had previously hired another concrete company that put me off for weeks, finally demolished the old parking pad, and then disappeared. Just meeting with Tom, who is friendly and knowledgeable, reassured me that this company would show up and get the job done. And they did! I'd like to give a special shoutout to the crew, who work together well and obviously know what they're doing. But Tom didn't just get the job and disappear; he was here both days, making sure that everything went well and checking in with me. I know this project will last for years, so I probably won't have more work for this company, but I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a reliable professional.

Tommy and his crew did an outstanding job! I had a crawl space with a high clearance which I wanted to make into a storage room. Tommy's crew was incredible- diligent, hard working, polite- and did a great job preparing and performing the placement of the concrete. I would hire again tomorrow if I had another job for them.

Tommy and his crew put in a patio for me in the backyard. They were prompt, hard working, and honest- what more can you ask for?! The patio looks great. Its just what we were hoping for. Give them a chance- you'll be pleased.

They came when they said they would and had a definite plan to accomplish the work. I just let them do the work and provided coffee and refreshments for the crew. They were good people and worked very hard. They were careful not to make a big mess of our basement even though they made two pours of concrete with a pumper which can be messy with hoses etc. The job took a little over a week and was completed in a very satisfactory manner.

Tommy and his team constructed a beautiful rounded edge concrete retaining wall at my house. They did a GREAT job on the wall and the outcome was far better then I ever expected. I am thoroughly impressed and would recomment A1NW Partners to everyone. Reuben was the engineer/architect on the job and he answered every question I had and communicated with me throughout the project. Both he and Tommy made me feel at ease with the project and were very thoughtful and kind from start to finish. Again, I highly recommend this company.

Very well! Tom was not the lowest bid. I chose him because he was a great communicator. He had the reputation to get the job done well...even if there was extra needed to make it work better for the client. Never thought much of foundation and stairs, but his work was beautiful!! Tom and his crew were wonderful to have around the property; they were very professional and friendly. Tom made my first time running my own project wonderful. Very thankful.

Great, Tom Smith was very professional, very friendly, and nice to work with. Tom's crew was punctual, it went like clockwork taking out the old driveway in only half a day. Several days later, they poured a beautiful looking driveway.

Tom did the work timely and the driveway looks wonderful. He took into consideration the slope of the driveway to make sure rain goes to the side drains and not the garage.

Excellent! Tom and his crew are top notch! We had a few bids put in, and while Tom wasn't the lowest - but he definitely knows his work. the fact that he was able to clearly explain the potential issues, how it would be addressed and the details made all the difference in our choice. His crew came on a Saturday to do all the demolition and set up, and returned due to scheduling a few days later to pour and set everything. The crew was there each day, early and ready to go as soon as the clock hit the the start time he had committed to. It was a pleasure to have everything go so well!

Tom Smith, the owner, is responsive and friendly, which already put him head and shoulders above the 6-8 other concrete people we had tried to get bids from for this job. He came recommended by a friend of a friend and we are extremely happy with his team's work. Tom came by our site a couple times before the day of concrete delivery so he could check out the job and discuss the plan with my husband, who had done all the prep and rebar work. That made the process extremely smooth as there were no surprises or last-minute decisions to be made. Today they poured the concrete and finished it and it really looks amazing. So smooth! Tom had very good knowledge of exactly how to pour and finish it to avoid cracking in the future. The price was fair as well. Tom and his crew were extremely professional and they made this project entirely stress-free for us. We can't recommend him more highly.

Tom was very professional from our first meeting and all the way through to answering follow-up questions I had after the job.
He provided a detailed quotation for the job where we defined the scope of work together to help me manage costs. Once we were in agreement about the work, and the cost, he was 100% available as his team showed up on site and he walked them through the job. Everyone on his team was polite and helpful when addressing my questions of concerns.
Once the foundation was poured and the work was finished, they cleaned up the site and left me with an excellent deliverable. I will work with A-1 again on any future concrete projects.

Tom and his crew did a great job. Tom kept me informed on when the work would start and they there when they said they would be everyday. The work was completed ahead of schedule with no surprises. Tom installed more rebar than called out by the plans and poured higher strength concrete, also used larger anchor bolts. Most important was the quality of the work, the layout of the forms was right on the money and this garage has an odd angle in it. The finished foundation is just about perfectly level and since I'm doing my own framing I'm very appreciative of that. Tom did a good job of keeping me informed though out the job, he and his guys are great to work with. Based on my experience to date I would not hesitate to use him again

Bid price was in the middle of 3 proposals.
Tom went out of his way to fit our job into his schedule.
Crew arrived on time and completed the work in 2 days.
When a small crack appeared in the recently poured concrete, Tom removed the entire section and replaced it within 2 days at no additional charge.
I highly recommend this company. They are honest, ethical and highly responsive to the customer's requests.

The whole project from start of the demolition to the end of the pour took only 4 days. Tom and his crew are experts with concrete, and have the entire process down like clockwork. Tom went above and beyond as well; making recommendations to further improve the structure and longevity of the forms and slab. He added more rebar to the pads than is required by Seattle code, and poured a slab that can support 4000 psi rather than the standard 2500 psi. He did all this with without adding to the cost project.
Tom even paid out of pocket for insulation he wanted to add around the edges of the slab. I received commercial quality work for residential prices. It's clear that Tom and his crew take a lot of pride in their work, and it really shows in the day to day interactions as well as the final product. I would hire Tom again in a second the next time I need concrete work.

Tom and his guys did a good job on the walls. My only complaint is that he tried to rip me off on pouring the slab by charging me double ($18,000). I ended up having to switch contractors and I got it poured for $8,400 and they did a really nice job.
Really disappointed that Tom would try that with me. I enjoyed working with him, but I guess greed got the best of him.

"I do remember this Client 3 years ago. When I bid on this project, I provided a bid only for the footings and foundation. I was not aware of another Concrete Contractor previously on this project that he fired; the client was also the G.C. We set-up and poured the new concrete footings and foundation, and there was additional work performed at no additional cost. And (removed member name) seemed quite happy with our service. We then moved onto another project. When he asked me for a bid I sent him a bid for his basement prep and pour I did make a honest mistake I had sent him out the wrong bid on his basement. At the time I was bidding on another basement remodel that was much larger in scope of work. Sorry to say he received info on the cost of that project, I didn't know until it was to late. He never returned my calls or be there when he said he would be there. I'm glad he got another bid you should always get 2 bids. When I found out he had received another bid and went with that contractor and everything turned out good. I was happy for him. The only thing that I was disappointed and saddened by was his Comment about me trying to rip him off and turn to greed. If I knew at the end of the work that we completed what I had to put up with and was warned by other Contractors and surrounding neighbors. I asked myself would I take this project on. The answer is yes I felt sympathetic and sorry for him and wanted to contribute as much as we could on a Professional Level. Last but not least for this Client to say greed got the best of him. If you were to talk to certain individuals associated with this project or certain Neighbors who represented greed. You would know it wasn't me. A lot of my past, present,and hopefully Future Clients not only hire my Company for Compassionate, Professionalism, and to fulfill there Concrete construction dreams. they also know that we donate on a yearly basis for the past 15 years to 6 non profit organizations to make this World a better and happier environment. Tom is a dream to work with. He is an expert in his field. He gave us answers and options for our project that had never been offered with other contractors that actually improved our final product as well as save us money.
