excellent work, timely and professional

Crew did not perform tasks clearly listed on bid and were not responsive to feedback. Owner/manager made some monetary amends but we were supremely disappointed with how bad the crew was. Much better luck with untrained college students working hourly. Would never hire again, ever. Cost listed is quoted price, brought to 1200 after reduction.

Done quickly and properly. But workers damaged a small section of hardieplank and I didn't notice it until they were gone (they may have tried to hide the damage). I reported it to company as soon as I noticed it, and they repaired the damage right away, at their expense, of course. Damage can happen, when it comes to construction projects, so it was no big deal, but fixing it right away was great service!

I'm pleased to say that we have been customers of Whatcom Lawns for years. This is a reliable company that does their job professionally, efficiently and with no drama or fuss. Working with Steve and his employees is always a pleasure.

I met with the owner prior to hiring, very professional and up front about pricing. My monthly bill reflects what we discussed, no surprises. The guys that mow do a good job, no problems with their work. As far as price goes, Whatcom Lawns did not provide the lowest estimate and they were not the highest. I'm happy with their service and plant to continue with this company.

It's something that I can't tell until the grass starts growing. There is no moss. They did a good job and the lawn looks terrific. When I first engaged them last year, we had a lot of moss, and it was black. Everything they did was very satisfactory. I intend to use them. Right now was the time for moss treatment, but I need to wait for fertilizer. They brought my lawn back to where it is looking good. I think their prices are very reasonable. I've been very satisfied with their work.

Excellent... when I have had a problem, I simply call or email and they are on it... usually within hours.

When I first contacted Whatcom Lawn, Steve the owner was very responsive, listened well to what I needed, and arranged his crew's visits to my rental house immediately on a regular basis.  He discussed the best times to perform the work with the property manager and submits invoices through them.  The tenants at the house have had good experiences with the crew.  Overall, the quality of the work has been very good.
The prices are competitive with similar businesses ($48 for trim/edge). I would recommend Whatcom Lawn to others because of the good management and the overall quality of work.

I did have a problem with the dirt that was blown in, so Steve took care of me. He promptly came out and accessed the situation. The dirt was removed and Growsources 3 way topsoil was shoveled in and it is great stuff. Pay the extra, get Growsources 3 way.

My neighbor watched Whatcom Lawns slice the seed and fertilizer in and she told me he did a great job. She has worked in lawn maintenance for 24 years and was very impressed.
She is right because I have the most beautiful green lawn and I keep getting compliments from my neighbors. There are a few spots that need more seed so Steve came out and brought me more.

It went well. We had a few trees that were under attack from insects, including two fruit trees - they came about 1.5 weeks after contact to consult and provide the estimate. Another week or so later, a guy came by to spray the trees. I was surprised that  he was from another company - apparently they sub this kind of work out to another company. But he was friendly and seemed to do a good job. All good.

Everything this company does is first rate.  They always do a little more than I expect.  In particular everything is cleaned up, picked up and blown down before they leave.
