1.     Originalinstallation was set up for 5/22/14.
2.     On 5/21/14 Jeff calls and tells me the product is not in and they will have to push back a week to 5/29/14.
3.     I ask him if he is sure this is a hard date because I have plumber scheduled to rehook up the gas and he just gave me one day           to cancel and I don?t want to go through that again.  He says he thinks so but he will confirm when it gets closer. I ask what             time are we talking about and he says they usually get there about 9:00.
4.     On 5/28/14, having heard nothing by 4:55 I call Carol.  She knows nothing but says she will call me back.  I say call me on my        cell.  She says 778-7751.  I say no, you have that wrong, that is my work number.  My cell is 927-0799.
5.     Carol never calls back.  My wife calls Carol at her home at 6:30. Carol says "something" must have happened and she forgot            to call me back.  She checked the schedule twice and it looks like Alex is scheduled.  She will have Jeff call in the morning.
6.     My wife tells Carol I will be at work she will need to call me there.
7.     I get no call at work.  I leave work and come home by 9:00 and find a message on the home phone from Jeff that Alex will
        be here at 9:00.  Evidently Carol did not pass the cell phone number on to Jeff and he called the home number where no one           was.
8.     Nothing more happens till 9:15 when Alex calls and says he has some errands to do and it will be another 10 minutes.                     Around 9:30 Alex shows up.  He has no idea that I would e taking off from work and waiting for him.
11.  Alex, the installer does an excellent job.  The product quality is good and the floor looks good.
12.  The customer coordination and care on a small job just is not a priority.

Lynden Floor and Design came out the day after we called and gave us an estimate on the work. They gave us the lowest bid of 5 contractors.
They helped us pick out tile for our shower, which we had no experience with . 
They came on the appointed day and started the work  .The tile guy came on time and did an excellent job on our shower. It turned out beautiful . We couldn't be more pleased.
The advice we got on how to pick out materials for the shower was very helpful and accurate.
Everything took about as long as they told us.  They were on time each and every day. 
Everyone was helpful and friendly.
And they had the best price by far.  They were even  $ 4500  less than one contractor  !!
We had our other bathroom redone by someone else and we had a negative experience with them , so Lynden Floor and Design was a breath of fresh air .  They were absolutely great from start to finish.

I wasn’t really pleased with their service.  I had a dispute with them because I didn’t have to pay right off the bet.  I was not pleased with the service rendered.  Eventually I had the owner come by and I told him I was not going to pay a certain amount and he agreed to take much less and that was the end of it.  They put in vinyl or one of these synthetic floor designs.  There are steps from the garage to the house to the utility room.  The material that was laid down on the steps was not good because he made a bad cut and then he cut a part and pasted a piece.  Instead of it being smooth you could see the line on the facing edges of the steps.  The installers were to reduce the contact between the flooring and the hardwood between the hall and a bathroom.  I couldn’t understand his logic because he wanted to put a strip and it would have changed the entrance way and someone could have tripped if they didn’t see it.  The tiling ultimately came out at the side of the bath tub in the bathroom he did.  I eventually had to go down and alter.  The tiling is not coming between the utility room and the kitchen which I have to go down now.  The quality of installation was not good.  The sales person at the store said he would send their best man but I totally disagree with that and I told the owner about that.
