Great job of making a replacement screen for an older home window

I ordered the above products with installation from the Ferndale store. I was given an approximate date for delivery and installation which was right on target. All went very well. It's been two years and we have no complaints. The products were rather pricey but of excellent quality. The installation was excellent. Please note the date and cost are approximate.

Used them for 2 services and found them excellent in both. Consulted Lyndale regarding new windows for our home. Anne was very knowledgeable and helpful, especially in comparing characteristics of different brands and types. Estimator was very helpful. Second, we purchased an exterior storm door from them. Again, Anne knew all the right questions to ask as she guided us to a choice. The team sent from them for the installation was excellent - thorough, professional, punctual. The price paid was competitive with other vendors. As will all window vendors, they can really only tell you about the brands they carry, or the ones they no longer carry. There is no comparison between the service and quality we received at Lyndale and what we encountered at the big box stores.

I wished to replace two small bedroom windows with a bay window to give my house better southern exposure. Lyndale glass came out, measured the space, and gave me a quote. I went to their offices in Lynden and, after examining panes of glass, asked them to use glass that would qualify for the tax rebate, which they did. I hired an electrician to move an electrical outlet that was between the windows. The window unit was a week late arriving from the factory, which delayed installation. Installation took two guys two days. Lyndale Glass hired a roofer to put a roof on the window projection. I hired a contractor to repair the drywall after the window was installed (Lyndale Glass does not do drywall, and I knew this repair would be needed before I authorized the installation). I painted the drywall and the window trim myself. Some painting will also be required on the external window supports once the weather warms up. But it looks great, and really lights up the room!
