We had an active water leak into the kitchen under a flat, rubber matt torch down roof that is not old enough to have sprung any kind of leak. The roofing company that installed the roof 8 years ago is out of business, so after unsuccessfully trying to get some attention from several roofing companies in Bellingham I was advised by A1 Builders to call Hytech. They were not so big or disinterested that they put me off. They talked to us, asked questions, came out an investigates, gave us excellent advice, did a few things, and left us with instructions to watch and wait for any more leaks before we fixed the sheet rock. They were courteous, smart, and really willing to help us even though it was a tiny issue that rightfully would have gone to the original roofer. Then we got a tiny bill for a LOT of attention, investigation and advice. Results: No More Leak, tiny bill and a Great Deal of Confidence in HYTECH.

Communication, promptness, etc were great- only problem I had was that even though the original quote was general in nature regarding the work to be completed, I was charged an extra $200 for additional work that was in the same area and of the same type included in the bid-- The bid basically said that they would do this for this amount- then it seems to me that I was charged by the hour-- I'm sure the work was quality and performed as agreed- just felt funny at the final invoice amount due--

No problem with leak since then. The repairman explain what the problem was and how he would fix it.
