Excellent work, diagnosed & fixed several problems including some we didn't know needed doing. Fridge works much better now. Highly recommended.

Tech worked hard and diagnosed the problem quickly. Had to go to store for part but he was able to fix the problem.

Ever since I bought my home five years ago, the dryer that the previous owner had left with the house had made a loud thumping noise when running, although it dried the clothes normally. Earlier this week the drum stopped turning and I was stuck with a load of wet clothes and a dead dryer. Gentry's Appliance Repair had good reviews on Angie's List so I gave them a call.
Glenn was able to come out the next day and arrived at the time he had promised. He quickly diagnosed the problem, made the repairs with parts he had on his truck, and even improvised to make up for some missing screws and washers that had been removed and not replaced by whoever had last worked on the machine.
While he was here, I also asked him to listen to a noise my washer had started making recently. Again, he quickly diagnosed the problem and told me that the washer was not worth repairing and gave me the name of a reputable used appliance salesman to call if I wanted to replace the washer.
He was prompt, friendly, and cleaned up carefully after he finished his work. I couldn't be happier with the service he provided, and my dryer worked perfectly last night to dry those wet clothes!

I liked them. The person who answered the phone was really courteous and easy to work with. They were nice and pleasant. The person that did the work was very respectful and really knew what he was doing. I was comfortable having him in the home.

He explained what the issue was with the dryer drum, repaired it and reconnected the hose. Fast and efficient and fairly priced as always. I will always be a customer of Gentry's because I've had just great experiences with them, from the woman who answers the phone to the great service people. They are fast, fair, AND a family business.
And they care about their customers! After having such great experiences with Gentry's, I recommended them to a friend who in turn recommended them to the elderly lady next door. I was so touched when my friend told me that after the Gentry's repair man fixed the lady's appliance, he then came over to my friend's house to ask if my friend knew the elderly woman, and if so, did she know who was caring for her. He was concerned for her well-being and he didn't want to leave until he knew that there was someone looking out for her!!! Above and beyond the call.........(the lady is being cared for).
